Abstract

Berpikir kritis adalah keterampilan dan kemampuan yang dapat digunakan dalam pengambilan resiko secara kreatif untuk membuat keputusan dan pengetahuan sebagai hasil, analisis dan sintesis, evaluasi, untuk mengakuisisi, pencarian informasi, untuk mengembangkan pemikiran, atas kesadaran individu terhadap pemikirannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan science virtual test dalam mengukur berpikir kritis siswa dengan tema makhluk hidup dan kelestarian lingkungan. Proses pengembangan science virtual test ini terdiri dari lima tahap: (1) analisis konten atau materi; (2) pembuatan instrumen (pilihan ganda) berdasarkan unsur-unsur berpikir kritis oleh Inch; (3) uji validitas (penilaian) instrumen oleh ahli; (4) uji keterbacaan soal oleh siswa; dan (5) melakukan uji lapangan (kelas besar). Berdasarkan uji lapangan kelas besar maka diperoleh hasil validitas dan reliabilitas tes, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, dan kualitas pengecoh. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP bertaraf internasional kelas 8 yang ada di Bandung dengan 125 total responden. Koefisien alpha (α) adalah 0,747, sehingga diklasisfikasikan sebagai tes yang memiliki keandalan atau konsistensi yang tinggi dan nilai korelasi XY adalah 0.63 yang berarti bahwa tes ini memiliki validitas yang tinggi. Dari hasil tersebut menandakan bahwa science virtual test dapat digunakan untuk mengukur berpikir kritis siswa dengan konsistensi yang baik.;---Critical thinking is skill and ability to use, use of risk taking creativity to make a decision and knowledge as a result, analysis and synthesis that, evaluation, to acquire, information search, to develop thinking, as an individual aware of his own thinking. The aim of this study is to develop science virtual test to measure students’ critical thinking on living things and environmental sustainability theme. The development of science virtual test item consist of five steps: (1) content analysis; (2) constructing the instrument (multiple choice) based on the elements of critical thinking by Inch; (3) validity judgement of the instrument by the expert; (4) legibility test of the instrument; (5) conducting the large test. On the large field test was gained the results of validity and reliability of the test, difficulty index, discriminating power, and quality of distractor. The subjects of research were 8th grade students at International Junior High School in Bandung with 125 total of respondents. The coefficient alpha (α) was 0.747, the reliability of the test was categorized as ‘high’ and value of XY correlation was 0.63 which mean that the validity of the test was categorized as ‘high’. These means that science virtual test can be used to measure student’s critical thinking with a good consistency.
