Abstract

Ranah kognitif merupakan ranah penting yang berperan dalam pengendalian ranah psikomotor serta ranah afektif. Dalam ranah kognitif juga terdapat elemen-elemen penting seperti memahamai, menerapkan, menganalisis yang diperlukan siswa SMK agar siap bekerja. Rendahnya kemampuan kognitif siswa saat ini dikarenakan model pembelajaran yang kurang tepat atau masih didominasi oleh guru dan media yang digunakan kurang memadai seperti hanya slide presentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif yang di dalamnya terdapat beberapa fase model self-regulated learning sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran jaringan dasar dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan multimedia tersebut terhadap peningkatan kognitif. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya. Untuk melihat pengaruh peningkatan kognitif maka digunakan instrumen tes berupa pretest dan posttest sedangkan untuk melihat kelayakan multimedia digunakanlah kuisioner yang mengadaptasi berdasarkan Learning Object Review Instrument (LORI) terhadap ahli media, ahli materi, serta siswa sebagai responden. Dari Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa: 1) multimedia ini mendapatkan penilaian dengan kategori sangat baik dan layak untuk digunakan berdasarkan uji validasi ahli media dengan presentase sebesar 84,44%, dan validasi ahli materi dengan presentase sebesar 82% serta presentase 80,64% dari siswa selaku pengguna multimedia. 2) Peningkatan kognitif siswa berdasarkan pretest dan posttest memperoleh nilai gain sebesar 0,53 pada kelompok atas, 0,42 pada kelompok tengah dan 0,12 pada kelompok bawah.;---Cognitive domain is the important domain serving in controlling psychomotor and affective domains. In the cognitive domain, there are important elements such as understanding, applying, analyzing necessary for Vocational High School students so that they are ready to work. Today’s low cognitive ability is caused by less appropriate or still teacher-dominated learning model or the used learning models are less appropriate such as only the slide presentation. This research aims to develop the interactive multimedia containing some phases of self-regulated learning model as the teaching aids in the basic network subject and to know on the extent on the multimedia use effect on the cognitive improvement. The method uses quantitative approach with the research design of one group pretest-posttest. This research was conducted in Vocational High School Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya. To see the cognitive improvement effect, it was used the test instruments such as pre-test and post-test, meanwhile to see the multimedia feasibility, it was used questionnaires adopting the Learning Object Review Instrument (LORI) on media experts, material experts, as well as students as the respondents. From this research result, it can be known that: 1) This multimedia achieves an assessment with very good and reliable category to be used based on the validation test of media experts with the percentage of 84,44%,, and validation of material experts with the percentage of 82% as well as the percentage of 80,64% from the students as the multimedia users. 2) The students’ cognitive improvement based on pre-test and post-test obtains the gain value of 0,53 for the upper group, 0,42 for medium group and 0,12 for bottom group.
