Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui profil miskonsepsi siswa meliputi miskonsepsi apa saja yang dialami siswa SMAN kelas XI di wilayah Bandung Timur pada materi kesetimbangan kimia menggunakan instrumen tes diagnostik pilihan ganda dua tingkat; perbedaan miskonsepsi siswa berdasarkan tingkat sekolah (sekolah kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah); perbedaan miskonsepsi siswa berdasarkan gender. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 330 siswa yang berasal dari sekolah kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes diagnostik pilihan ganda dua tingkat pada materi kesetimbangan kimia yang terdiri dari 13 butir soal dengan nilai Content Validity Index (CVI) sebesar 0,99 dan nilai reliabilitas dengan kategori tinggi (r = 0,723). Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat 84 macam miskonsepsi yang terdeteksi dan miskonsepsi terbesar terdapat pada konsep kesetimbangan homogen (74,24%) dan miskonsepsi terkecil pada konsep tetapan kesetimbangan (22,73%); secara umum tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara persentase miskonsepsi siswa SMAN kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji one way ANOVA (p = 0,126 > 0,05); secara umum tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara persentase miskonsepsi antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t (p = 0,433 > 0,05). ;---The aim of the research were to know the profile of student’s misconceptions of grade XI students in East Bandung on the chemical equilibrium topic detected using the instrument diagnostic test two-tier multiple choices; to know misconseptions differences of student by school level (high, medium and low level school); to know misconseptions differences based on gender. The research method used was descriptive method. The respondents involved 330 students in grade XI from high, medium and low level school in East Bandung. The instrument used was a diagnostic test two-tier multiple choices on the chemical equilibrium topic that consisted of 13 items with a value of Content Validity Index (CVI) of 0.99 and the value of reliability with high category (r = 0.723). The results show: there were 84 kind of misconseptions diagnosed and the highest misconseptions on homogeneous equilibrium concept (74.24%) and the lowest misconseptions on equilibrium constant concept (22.73%); there was no significant difference between the percentage of students misconseptions based school level generally based on the results of hypothesis test using one way ANOVA (p = 0.126 > 0,05); there was no significant difference between men and woman generally based on the results of hypothesis test using t-test (p = 0.433 > 0,05).
