Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari rendahnya keterampilan sosial siswa tunagrahita ringan serta belum ada program keterampilan sosial di sekolah. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka tujuan penelitian ini untuk merumuskan program keterampilan sosial bagi siswa tunagrahita ringan. Mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang dilakukan dalam 3 tahap yaitu : 1) melihat kondisi faktual siswa dan program keterampilan sosial, 2) merumuskan program keterampilan sosial yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan melakukan validasi program dan 3) keterlaksanaan program. Penelitian ini menemukan kondisi objektif keterampilan sosial siswa yang belum mampu melakukan hubungan pertemanan, menyelesaikan tugas, mengantri, mengikuti aturan. Selanjutnya dirumuskan program keterampilan sosial yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Pelaksanaan program diawali dengan melakukan diseminasi program dan secara umum program ini dapat diterapkan oleh guru.;--- This study is based deficit social skill student with mild mental retardation and the lack of written social skills program in school. Based on these problems, the objective of this study to formulate a social skills program for students of mild mental retardation. The study uses a qualitative approach with the Research and Development (R & D). The study was conducted in three stages: 1) find out the factual conditions of students and social skills program, 2) formulate a social skills program that fits the needs of students and validate the program and 3) Test the adherence to the program. The study found the objective conditions of students who have not been able to have friendships, queue, complete the task, the ability to follow the rules and the ability to initiate conversation. The result of this research is the formulation of a social skills program in accordance with the conditions of students. Implementation of the program begins with a general dissemination program and the program can be implemented by teachers.
