Abstract
Penelitian ini bertolak pada rumusan masalah, yaitu: “Bagaimana efektivitas media aplikasi flash flip book” dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa yang dapat dilihat dari ketercapaian hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran TIK di kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Majalaya? ”Secara lebih khusus, rumusan masalah dalam tesis ini meneliti tentang : Pertama, Bagaimana kemampuan kognitif siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan media aplikasi flash flip book pembelajaran lebih efektif dibandingkan kemampuan kognitif siswa yang menggunakan media konvensional (buku teks) yang dapat dilihat dari ketercapaian hasil belajar siswa pada aspek pengetahuan, mata pelajaran TIK? Kedua Bagaimana kemampuan kognitif siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan media aplikasi flash flip book pembelajaran lebih efektif dibandingkan kemampuan kognitif siswa yang menggunakan media konvensional (buku teks) yang dapat dilihat dari ketercapaian hasil belajar siswa pada aspek pemahaman, mata pelajaran TIK? Ketiga, Bagaimana kemampuan kognitif siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan media aplikasi flash flip book pembelajaran lebih efektif dibandingkan kemampuan kognitif siswa yang menggunakan media konvensional (buku teks) yang dapat dilihat dari ketercapaian hasil belajar siswa pada aspek penerapan, mata pelajaran TIK? Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media flash flip book terhadap peningkatan kemampuan kognitif siswa, dibandingkan dengan media konvensional (buku teks) yang dapat dilihat dari ketercapaian hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran TIK, guna menunjang kualitas pembelajaran. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain control group pre test-post test. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah jenis tes objektif pilihan berganda sejumlah 30 soal. Dengan rincian 12 soal terkait aspek pengetahuan, 10 soal terkait aspek pemahaman, 8 soal terkait aspek penerapan. Sampel penelitian diambil berdasarkan sampel total sebanyak 40 orang siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Majalaya. Yang terbagi kedalam dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan pengujian hipotesis dengan uji-t independen. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu media flash flip book terbukti lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan media konvensional (buku teks) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif pada mata pelajaran TIK di SMA Negeri 1 Majalaya. Hal tersebut terlihat dari adanya perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan media flash flip book dengan siswa yang menggunakan media konvensional (buku teks) pada ranah kognitif dalam mata pelajaran TIK. Kata Kunci: Flash Flip Book, Media Pembelajaran This study contradicts the formulation of the problem, namely: "What is the effectiveness of media flash flip book application" in improving students' cognitive abilities that can be seen from the achievement of learning outcomes in ICT subjects in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Majalaya? "In particular, the formulation of the problem in this thesis examines: First, How cognitive abilities of students who learned with the application media flash flip book learning is more effective than cognitive abilities of students who use conventional media (text books) which can be seen from the achievement of student learning outcomes in aspects of knowledge, ICT subjects? How can both cognitive abilities of students who learned with the application media flash flip book learning is more effective than cognitive abilities of students who use conventional media (text books) which can be seen from the achievement of student learning outcomes in the aspect of understanding, ICT subjects? Third, How cognitive abilities of students who learned with flash flip book application media learning is more effective than cognitive abilities of students who use conventional media (text books) which can be seen from the achievement of student learning outcomes in the application aspect, ICT subjects? The study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of flash flip book media to increase students’ cognitive abilities, compared with convensional media (text books) that can be seen from the achievement of student learning outcomes in ICT lesson, in order to support the quality of learning. The research method used was a quasi-experimental control group design with pre testpost test. The instrument used is an objective type multiple-choice test about the number 30. With details of 12 questions related to aspects of knowledge, 10 questions related aspects of comprehension, about 8 related aspects of the application. Samples were taken based on a total sample of 40 students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Majalaya. Were divided into two groups: the experimental group and the control group. Data processing is done by testing the hypothesis with independent t-test. The conclusion of this study is media Flash Flip Book proved to be more effective than the conventional media (text books) to improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of ICT subjects in SMA Negeri 1 Majalaya. This is evident from the significant difference in learning outcomes between students who learn to use Flash Flip Book with media students using conventional media (text books) on cognitive domain in ICT subjects in SMA Negeri 1 Majalaya.
