    Abstract

    Sibling rivalry pada anak usia toddler adalah kecemburuan terhadap saudara kandung. Oleh sebab itu ibu dituntut untuk mengetahui, memahami, dan nantinya mampu mengatasi permasalahan mengenai ketertarikan antara saudara kandung dan hubungan emosional khususnya masalah sibling rivalry pada anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran pengetahuan ibu mengenai sibling rivalry pada anak usia toddler di Kelurahan Cikutra Kecamatan Cibeunying Kidul kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif rancangan penelitian menggunakan cross sectional dengan sampel sebanyak 200 orang ibu. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah Cluster Random sampling. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hampir sebagian besar Ibu yang memiliki pengetahuan cukup mengenai Sibling Rivalry sebanyak 81 orang (40,5%). Harapan peneliti ibu mendapatkan informasi yang berkaitan dengan sibling rivalry yang dapat diperoleh dari sumber informasi seperti media cetak atau panduan yang membahas mengenai anak, diharapkan setiap ibu dapat mengetahui dengan pasti bagaimana mencegah dan mengatasi sibling rivalry.; Sibling rivalry is the jealouse feel to the younger even older sibling. Therefore, the mother demanded to know, understand, and will be able to overcome the problem associated interest between the emotional relationship sibling rivalry problems in children. The purpose of this study was to identify description of mother's knowledge about sibling rivalry in toddler at sub Cikutra, Cibeunying Kidul subdistric. This research uses descriptive research design with a quantitative approach by using a cross sectional study design. The sample is 200 mother, the sampling technique is cluster random sampling. Data analysis technique used in this study is a univariate analysis. These results indicate that the mothers's categorized as having a fairly knowledge 81 people (40,5%) about Sibling Rivalry. So expect mothers to improve their knowledge by obtaining information related to sibling rivalry that can be obtained from resources such as print media or guide that discusses the child so that every mother can know with certainty how to prevent and cope sibling rivalry
