Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat penguasaan materi yang dimiliki siswa terhadap materi modulasi sinyal analog pada mata pelajaran perekayasaan sistem radio dan televisi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis perangkat lunak Matlab Simulink pada simulasi sistem modulasi sinyal analog. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pre-experimental design. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan pengukuran sebelum diberikan perlakuan (pretest) dan sesudah diberi perlakuan (posttest) pada ranah kognitif. Pada ranah afektif pengukuran hasil belajar dilakukan dengan observasi selama proses pembelajaran secara praktikum berlangsung. Sedangkan pada ranah psikomotor pengukuran hasil belajar dilakukan dengan metode observasi saat praktikum menggunakan jobsheet. Perlakuan dilakukan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Matlab Simulink. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dari penggunaan media pembelajaran Matlab Simulink terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Hal ini terindikasi oleh adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah diberikan perlakuan. Data penelitian menunjukan rata-rata peningkatan N-Gain pada ranah kognitif sebesar 0,57 atau 57%, rata-rata nilai peserta didik pada ranah afektif 79,43, rata-rata nilai pada ranah psikomotor 81,86. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran Matlab Simulink dinilai efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi modulasi sinyal analog ditinjau dari ranah kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor.; This research is motivated by the low level of student mastery learn analog signal modulation on the subject of Radio and Television Systems Engineering. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the use of media-based learning software in Matlab Simulink simulation of analog signal modulation system. The method used is quantitative method with pre-experimental design. The research design used in this case is one group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted by measuring before being given treatment (pretest) and after treated (posttest) on the cognitive domain. In the affective domain measurement of learning outcomes with observations during the practice learning. While on psychomotor learning outcomes measurement is done with the current observation method using jobsheet on practicum. The treatment was done using Matlab Simulink learning media. Data processing is done using Microsoft Excel 2013. The results showed that there is a positive effect of the use of Matlab Simulink learning media on learning outcomes learners. This is indicated by an increase in learning outcomes of students after being given treatment. The research data shows an average increase of N-Gain in the cognitive domain of 0.57 or 57%, the average value of students in the affective 79.43, the average value of the psychomotor 81.86. Based on these results we can conclude that the application of instructional media Matlab Simulink is considered effective to improve the learning outcomes of students in analog signal modulation in terms of cognitive, affective and psychomotor.
