Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Gambaran pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri siswa kelas XI Jurusan TPHP SMKN 4 Garut; (2) Gambaran kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XI Jurusan TPHP SMKN 4 Garut; (3) Pengaruh pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XI jurusan TPHP SMKN 4 Garut. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas XI jurusan TPHP SMK Negeri 4 Garut yang berjumlah 30 orang yang telah melaksanakan praktik kerja industri. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi, angket dan wawancara. Pengujian pra syarat analisis meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji linearitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri siswa kelas XI Jurusan TPHP SMKN 4 Garut berada pada kategori baik; (2) Kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XI Jurusan TPHP SMKN 4 Garut berada pada kategori tinggi; (3) Pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XI Jurusan TPHP SMKN 4 Garut, yaitu sebesar 0,538. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa semakin baik pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri maka semakin tinggi tingkat kesiapan kerja siswa. Kata Kunci : Pengaruh, Praktik Kerja Industri, Kesiapan Kerja Aim for this research are to find out: (1) the internship illustration of the 11th grade students of TPHP SMKN 4 Garut. (2) Illustration of working preparation the 11th grade students of TPHP SMKN 4 Garut; (3) the influences of the internship affect to the students working preparation the 11th students of TPHP SMKN 4 Garut.This research used descriptive quantitative method. Sampling for this research is 30 students of TPHP in SMKN 4 Garut who had finished the internship. Method for collecting data is use questionnaires, documentary, and interview. Testing of pre-requirements analysis including normality test, homogeneity test, and linearity test. The data analysis technique used is a simple regression analysis.Result of this research shows that: (1) the internship of the 11th grade students of TPHP SMKN 4 Garut is in the good category. (2) Work preparation of the 11th grade students of TPHP SMKN 4 Garut is high. (3) Implementation of the internship affect have a impact to work preparation the 11th grade students of TPHP SMKN 4 Garut, amounting 0,538. From this research it is known that getting better implementation of Students Internship then the higher level Student work preparation. Keywords: Influence, Students Internship, Work preparation
