Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penilaian tersebut dan setelah melakukan perbandingan dengan literatur yang digunakan, sistem sirkulasi yang ada di gedung FPTK UPI sudah cukup baik.---------- Circulation is one important factor in the buildings design, and become a key factor to support the functions of a building, no exception to the educational buildings, such as the FPTK UPI building. The circulation system that existed at FPTK UPI building must have a high effectiveness and efficiency to its function as a means of connecting. This research aims to determine a general overview of the circulation system in the FPTK UPI building and how its perception towards the circulation system. This research uses descriptive method with data collection techniques such as observation, literature study, and documentation, as well as a questionnaire to find out the perception of users. Assessment is based on the principal components of the circulation system that consists of: achievement, entrance, lane configuration, the connection lines and spaces, and forms circulation space. The results of observations and calculations questionnaire that has been done shows that the five basic components of the circulation system is good enough. Based on the results of the assessment and after comparison with the literature used, the circulation system in the FPTK UPI building is good enough.
