Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas konsep pola attachment anak usia dini dengan ibu di Kota Cirebon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek penelitian sejumlah tiga anak yang berusia dua tahun dan tiga orang ibu. Peneliti melakukan observasi terstruktur menggunakan strange situation procedure untuk melihat bagaimana pola attachment antara anak dengan ibu. Peneliti juga melakukan wawancara terbuka kepada ketiga ibu. Data dianalisis menggunakan grounded theory. Subjek memiliki pola secure attachment baik dengan ibu maupun dengan figur pengganti. Hal ini karena figur utama maupun figur pengganti ketiganya mampu memenuhi kebutuhan subjek, responsif terhadap tingkah laku subjek. Figur attachment juga dapat memberikan perlindungan dan rasa aman selama subjek bersama mereka. Ketiganya mendapatkan pengasuhan yang penuh kehangatan dan kasih sayang dari figur attachment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa attachment yang terbentuk anak bukan hanya karena siapa figur attachment, tetapi bagaimana pengasuhan yang diterima. Oleh karena itu penelitian kurang sejalan dengan teori Bowlby dan Ainsworth. Peneliti merasa bahwa perlu adanya penelitian yang lebih lanjut berkaitan dengan pola attachment anak usia dini dengan ibu dari berbagai latar belakang budaya yang berbeda.

The research explaining about the concept of attachment pattern at early child with their mother in Cirebon. The research use qualitative method by study case research design. There are 3 subjects are two years old child with each mother. Researcher doing the structured observation by strange situation procedure to see how the pattern of attachment between child and mother. Researcher also did some open interview and unstructured observation. Data being analyzed by grounded theory. The pattern of secure attachment, not only built between mother but also with the replacement attachment figure. Whether the main or the replacement figure are capable to fulfill the needs of the subjects and responsive to the shown behavior of the subjects. The Main and replacement figures are reliable and not only gives the positive nurture but also security and safety when they are around the subjects.
