Abstract

Pembelajaran yang masih bersifat pemindahan isi melatarbelakangi rendahnya kemampuan berbicara dan kepercayaan diri peserta didik dalam pembelajaran bahasa indonesia. Hal ini mengakibatkan bahasa indonesia menjadi mata pelajaran yang dipandang sebelah mata. Oelh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kendala dan kesulitan peserta didik dan guru dalam pembelajaran, mengetahui rancangan pembelajaran dan rancangan perbaikan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran nondirective, serta mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berbicara dan kepercayaan diri peserta didik dan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran nondirective untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara dan kepercayaan diri peserta didik. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Rancabolang Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes unjuk kerja atau performance dan tes otentik berupa lembar kerja peserta didik. Data hasil penelitian disajikan dari hasil prasiklus, siklus I dan siklus II secara deskriptif. Dari deskripsi tersebut dapat dilihat peningkatan kemampuan berbicara dan kepercayaan diri peserta didik serta hasil belajar peserta didik dari mulai prasiklus, siklus I dan siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditarik kesimpulan bahwa kemampuan berbicara dan kepercayaan diri peserta didik meningkat setelah menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis model nondirective.---------- Learning is still behind the transfer of the contents of the low ability to speak and confidence of learners in learning Indonesian. This resulted in the Indonesian be subject underestimated. Oelh Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the constraints and difficulties of students and teachers in learning, knowing the draft learning and instructional design improvements with nondirective learning models, as well as knowing the increase in the power of speech and confidence of learners and learning outcomes of students after executing nondirective teaching learning model to improve speaking skills and confidence of learners. Research carried out an action research with the research subjects of fourth grade students of State Elementary School Rancabolang Bandung. The instrument used in this study is a test of performance or performance and test an authentic form of worksheets learners. Data were presented from the results prasiklus, the first cycle and second cycle descriptively. From the description it can be seen an increase in the ability to speak and the confidence of learners and learning outcomes of students from the start prasiklus, cycle I and cycle II. Based on the analysis of data drawn the conclusion that the ability to speak and the confidence of learners increased after implementing the model-based learning nondirective.
