Abstract

Kesulitan belajar siswa merupakan salah satu penyebab menurunnya kinerja akademis atau prestasi belajar siswa. Guru harus dapat mengidentifikasi kesulitan belajar siswa agar tercapai tujuan pembelajaran. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa yaitu dengan merancang desain didaktis. Desain didaktis merupakan rancangan pembelajaran yang dilengkapi dengan prediksi respon siswa terhadap materi pelajaran dan antisipasi guru terhadap respon siswa. Namun saat ini, rancangan pembelajaran yang digunakan guru belum dilengkapi dengan prediksi respon siswa dan antisipasi guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang desain didaktis pada materi hidrolisis garam berdasarkan kesulitan belajar siswa dan refleksi diri guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain penelitian berupa penelitian desain didaktis. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar pada konsep asam basa, jenis garam yang mengalami hidrolisis, reaksi hidrolisis garam, dan perhitungan pH larutan garam dari asam kuat dan basa lemah. Kesulitan belajar siswa yang teridentifikasi dijadikan dasar untuk merancang desain didaktis dalam bentuk chapter design dan lesson design. Saat implementasi desain didaktis didapat respon siswa yang tidak terprediksi, respon siswa yang tidak diantisipasi oleh guru, dan respon siswa yang terlambat diantisipasi oleh guru. Dari implementasi desain didaktis didapat kesulitan belajar siswa berkurang pada konsep asam basa, jenis garam yang mengalami hidrolisis, reaksi hidrolisis garam, dan perhitungan pH larutan garam dari asam kuat dan basa lemah. Setelah implementasi desain didaktis didapat hasil refleksi diri guru melalui lesson analysis, yaitu ketika seluruh siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar maka dilakukan diskusi kelas, dan memperhatikan batasan waktu dalam melakukan praktikum dan pengerjaan LKS. Kata kunci: Desain didaktis, hidrolisis garam, kesulitan belajar siswa, lesson analysis Student’s learning obstacle lead to decreased academic performance or student’s achievement. Teachers must be able to identify student’s learning obstacle to make learning more meaningful. One of the efforts that teachers can do to overcome students' learning obstacle is didactical design. Didactical design is a lesson plan that equipped with student’s response prediction and teacher’s anticipation. At this time, lesson plan used by teacher is not equipped with student’s response prediction and teacher’s anticipation. The aims of this study is to design a didactical design on hydrolysis of salt matter based on student’s learning obstacle and teacher’s self reflection. The method in this research was qualitative with didactical design research. The result indicated that students have learning obstacles on acid-base concept, type of salt hydrolysis, hydrolysis reaction, and the pH of salt solution of strong acid and weak base. Student’s learning obstacles were identified as a basis for designing didactical design was made on chapter design and lesson design. In the didactical design implementation are unpredictable student’s response, student’s response was not anticipated by the teacher, and student's response was late anticipated by the teacher. The results of the implementation of the didactical design can reduce the student’s learning obstacles on acid-base concept, type of salt hydrolysis, hydrolysis reaction, and the pH of salt solution of strong acid and weak base. Lesson analysis was made after implementation of didactical design. Based on lesson analysis, teacher conducted self reflection, if all of students had learning obstacle the teacher conduct a class discussion, and about time management to student doing experiment and worksheet.
