Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan interpersonal antartokoh di Coco avant Chanel kususnya dalam kajian cinta dan komunikasi serta secara feminis eksistensialis (teori Simone de Beauvoir dalam Le Deuxième Sexe). Filmnya sendiri adalah film biografi yang menceritakan tentang perjalanan hidup sang perancang busana Coco Chanel sebelum dia menjadi perancang sukses; tentang kerasnya perjuangan di abad 19 dari pengalaman-pengalaman pribadinya sebagai seorang perempuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan data kualitatif. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan bantuan kartu analisis hubungan antartokoh dengan sample penelitian diambil dari beberapa adegan yang representatif dalam film ”Coco avant Chanel”. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam film Coco Avant Chanel terdapat beberapa bentuk cinta antartokoh yaitu; 1) Attraction; 2) Absence d'amour; 3) Amour obsessif; 4) Amour affection; 5) Amour romantique; 6) Amour Vain; 7) Amour Idéal. Di tiap adegan film ini terdapat bentuk-bentuk komunikasi secara verbal maupun non-verbal dengan unsur-unsur seperti 1) Ekspresi Wajah; 2) Tatapan Mata; 3) Gerakan Tubuh; 4) Sentuhan; 5) Jarak Interpersonal; 6) Parabahasa; 7) Makna Kata; dan 8) Self-Disclosure. Adapula unsur feminisme eksistensialisme yang terkandung dalam film ini seperti 1) Perilaku umumnya perempuan pada masa tersebut; 2) Peran perempuan dalam masyarakat sosial; 3) Cara interaksi perempuan dihadapan laki-laki; 4) Cara interaksi laki-laki dihadapan perempuan; 5) Makna pernikahan; 6) Seksualitas; dan 7) Makna cinta. Itu semua tentunya sangat terikat dengan budaya dan masyarakat yang berkembang pada era tertentu (dalam film itu adalah abad 19 ke 20) sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai materi dan pembahasan di mata kuliah Civilisation Française dalam membahas aliran-aliran sastra dan seni. The purpose of this study is to describe the interpersonal relationship between the characters in the film Coco Avant Chanel, particularly in love, communication relations, and feminist existentialist perspectives. Coco Avant Chanel is a biopic about the life of the fashion designer before she became a successful designer; the rigors of the struggle in the 19th century from her personal experiences as a woman. The methode of analysis was descriptive analysis with qualitative data. We used a reliable instrument using a 'Scene Analysis Card' to selected research samples taken from some of the scenes representative in the film Coco avant Chanel. Research results shown that in the film Coco Avant Chanel, there are forms of love between the characters; 1) Attraction; 2) Absence d'amour; 3) Amour obsessif; 4) Amour affection; 5) Amour romantique; 6) Amour Vain; 7) Amour Idéal. In every scene of this movie there are forms of verbal communication and non-verbal elements like, seperti 1) Expressions faciales; 2) Regard; 3) Gestes; 4) Touch; 5) Distance; 6) Le sens du mot; 7) Vocalics dan 8) Révélation de soi. There are also elements of feminist Existentialism such as: 1) Behavior of the time women generally; 2) role of women in the social community; 3) how the interaction of women before men; 4) how interactions of men before women; 5) the meaning of marriage; 6) Sexuality; and 7) the meaning of love. The film itself very tied to the culture and society that developed on a specific era (in the movie it is a 20th century). Therefore the result can be useful for material and discussion reference on the course Civilisation Française to introduce diversity of art and literature genre.
