Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Implementasi Capacity Building dan Pemberdayaan Sumber Daya Manusia Terhadap Motivasi Kerja Pegawai di Balai Pelatihan Manajerial PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Bandung”. Masalah yang dibahas yaitu seberapa besar pengaruh implementasi capacity building dan pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai. Secara umum tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai oleh penulis yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai implementasi capacity building dan pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai di Balai Pelatihan Manajerial PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup dan respondennya pegawai yang berjumlah 30 orang sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil perhitungan kecenderungan umum menggunakan Weighted Mean Score menunjukkan bahwa implementasi capacity building termasuk kategori sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 3,58, pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia termasuk kategori sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 3,55, dan motivasi kerja pegawai juga termasuk kategori sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 3,56. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa variabel X1, X2, dan Y berdistribusi normal, selanjutnya analisis data menggunakan statistik parametrik. Analisis korelasi ganda antara variabel X1 dan X2 secara bersama-sama terhadap Y sebesar 0,778 artinya ketiga variabel pada tingkat hubungan kuat dan terdapat korelasi yang positif. Hasil uji signifikansi korelasi ganda dengan uji-F pada variabel X1 dan X2 secara bersama-sama terhadap Y diperoleh Fhitung > dari Ftabel (20,70 > 3,354) artinya koefisien korelasi ganda yang ditemukan adalah signifikan (dapat diberlakukan untuk populasi dimana sampel diambil). Analisis korelasi dapat dilanjutkan dengan menghitung koefisien determinasi. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi yaitu variabel X1 dan X2 memberikan pengaruh terhadap variabel Y sebesar 60,53% sedangkan sisanya 39,47% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara implementasi capacity building dan pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai di Balai Pelatihan Manajerial PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Bandung. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Bandung”. Issues to be discussed include how much influence the implementation of capacity building and empowerment of human resources for employees' work motivation . In general, the research objectives to be achieved by the authors to describe the implementation of capacity building and empowerment of human resources for employees' work motivation in Managerial Training Center PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Bandung. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using the enclosed questionnaire and respondents were 30 employees as the study sample. General trend calculation results using Weighted Mean Score indicates that the implementation of capacity building including the excellent category with an average score of 3.58, the empowerment of human resources, including the excellent category with an average score of 3.55, and motivation of employees also including the excellent category with an average score of 3.56. Normality test results showed that the variables X1, X2, and Y are normally distributed, further analysis of the data using parametric statistics. Multiple correlation analysis between variables X1 and X2 together to Y for 0,778 means that the three variables on the level of a strong relationship and there is a positive correlation. Results of multiple tests of significance correlation with F-test on the variables X1 and X2 together to Y obtained Fcount > Ftable (20.70 > 3.354) means that the correlation coefficient is double that found significant (can be applied to a population where the sample was taken). Correlation analysis can proceed by calculating the coefficient of determination. Test results of the coefficient of determination of variable X1 and X2 give effect to the variable Y was 60.53 % while the remaining 39.47 % is influenced by other factors. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the implementation of capacity building and empowerment of human resources for employees' work motivation in Managerial Training Center PT.
