Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan pemecahan masalah matematis, serta pencapaian self-confidence matematika antara siswa yang belajar melalui model pembelajaran sinektik dengan siswa yang belajar melalui model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan pretest-postest design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan tenik purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh dua kelas dengan masing-masing kelas terdiri dari 33 siswa pada kelas X di salah satu SMK di kota Mojokerto. Selanjutnya, kedua kelas tersebut dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas eksperimen 2. Kelas eksperimen 1 mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran sinektik, sedangkan kelas eksperimen 2 mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan pemecahan masalah matematis, serta angket self-confidence matematika. Analisis data kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji statistik perbedaan rerata dua sampel yang independen untuk melihat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan kedua kelompok sampel, serta uji korelasi untuk melihat hubungan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan pemecahan masalah matematis serta self-confidence matematika siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) terdapat perbedaan pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yang signifikan antara siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran sinektik dengan siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah; (2) terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa; (3) terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan self-confidence matematika siswa; dan (4) terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan self-confidence matematika siswa. This research aims to compare the achievement and enhancement in the mathematical creative thinking and problem solving ability, as well as the achievement of mathematical self-confidence among students who learn through sinektik learning model with students learning through problem-based learning model. This research is a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest design. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique, in order to obtain two classes with each class consists of 33 students in class X in one of SMK in the town of Mojokerto. Furthermore, these two classes used as experimental class 1 and experimental class 2. Experiment class 1 get learning with sinektik learning model, while the experimental class 2 get learning by using problem-based learning model. The instrument used are test of mathematical creative thinking and problems solving ability, as well as mathematical self-confidence questionnaire. Quantitative data analysis was done using statistical test mean difference of two independent samples to see the differences in upgrading of the two groups of samples, as well as the correlation test to examine the relationship of mathematical creative thinking and problem solving ability, as well as the mathematical self-confidence of students. Based on the research results, it is concluded: (1) there are a significant differences in the achievement and enhancement in mathematical creative thinking ability of students who obtained sinektik learning model, compare to students who received problem-based learning model; (2) there is a significant correlation between mathematical creative thinking ability and mathematical problem solving ability of students; (3) there is a significant correlation between mathematical creative thinking ability and mathematical self-confidence of students; and (4) there is a significant correlation between mathematical problem solving ability and mathematical self-confidence of students.
