Abstract

Ieu tésis téh judulna “Unsur Budaya jeung Ajén Atikan dina Naskah (Manuscript) “Wawacan Barjah” (Ulikan Budaya-Étnopédagogi)”. Ieu panalungtikan miboga tujuan pikeun ngadéskripsikeun naskah (manuscript) “Wawacan Barjah”, transliterasi naskah (manuscript) “Wawacan Barjah”, unsur-unsur budaya nu aya dina “Wawacan Barjah”, ajén-inajén atikan karakter nu nyampak dina “Wawacan Barjah”, jeung rarancang modél pangajaran aprésiasi sastra pikeun rumaja di Kecamatan Ciater Kabupatén Subang. Sumber data ieu panalungtikan nya éta naskah (manuscript) “Wawacan Barjah”, nu mangrupa dokumén pribadi Nini Cékoy (82 th), nu alamatna di Kampung Bunut Rt 13/ Rw 06, Désa Ciuyah Kecamatan Cisarua, Kabupatén Sumedang. Ieu naskah kandelna 129 kaca, ngawengku 645 pada. Naskah nu jadi sumber data nya éta naskah nu ditulis dina aksara Pégon, ngagunakeun basa Sunda. Métode anu digunakeun dina ieu panalungtikan nya éta métode déskriptif analitik. Téhnik nu digunakeun pikeun ngumpulkeun data nya éta téhnik studi lapangan jeung studi pustaka, sedengkeun téhnik nu dipaké pikeun ngolah data nya éta analisis data. Dumasar kana hasil panalungtikan, unsur budaya nu aya dina “Wawacan Barjah” luyu jeung nu ditétélakeun ku Koentjaraningrat, anu ngawengku 7 sistem. Unsur budaya dina “Wawacan Barjah” ieu ngawengku: (1) 4 jenis basa, sisindiran, jeung gaya basa, (2) élmu pangaweruh ngawengku 10 aspék, (3) organisasi sosial ngawengku 3 aspék, (4) pakakas jeung téknologi ngawengku 8 aspék, (5) pakasaban, (6) kapercayaan (religi), jeung (7) kasenian. Kitu deui jeung hasil analisis ajén-inajén atikan karakter bangsa dumasar Pusat Kurikulum Departemen Pendidikan Nasional, nu nyampak dina “Wawacan Barjah” katitén aya 13 karakter aspék, nya éta jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/komunikatif, cinta damai, peduli sosial, jeung tanggung jawab. Sacara pédagogik ajén-inajén nu nyampak dina “Wawacan Barjah” bisa dijadikeun bahan pangajaran dina raraga ngawangun karakter pribadi masarakat Sunda. The title of this thesis is “Cultural Element and Education Values in “Wawacan Barjah” Manuscript (A Cultural-Etnopedagogic analysis)”. The purpose of this study is to describe “Wawacan Barjah” manuscript, “Wawacan Barjah” manuscript’s translated form, cultural elements, values of character education in “Wawacan Barjah” manuscript, and literature appreciation learning model plan for juvenile in Kecamatan Ciater Kabupaten Subang. The data source of this study is “Wawacan Barjah” manuscript that owned by Nini Cekoy (82) from Kampung Bunut RT 13/ RW 06, Desa Ciuyah Kecamatan Cisarua Kabupaten Sumedang. This manuscript consists of 129 pages and has 645 verses. This manuscript was written in Sundanese and pegon letter. This research uses analytical descriptive method. To gather the data, this study uses field research and literature review as data gather technique. This research uses data analysis to proceed the data. According to result of this research, cultural elements that contain in “Wawacan Barjah” manuscript are: (1) 4 types of languages, sisindiran, and gaya bahasa,(2) 10 aspects of knowledge, (3) 3 aspects of social organization, (4) 8 aspects of tools and technology, (5) profession, faith, and art. This research also finds 13 national character education value according to curriculum centre of national education department. The characters are honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, democracy, curious, spirit of nationalism, achievement appreciation, friendly/communicative, peace lover, social care, and responsibility. The result recommends that educational values in “Wawacan Barjah” manuscript can be used as learning process material, to improve character of Sundanese people.
