Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini berjudul “PERKEMBANGAN TARI TOPENG TUNGGAL DI KELURAHAN CIBUBUR KECAMATAN CIRACAS JAKARTA TIMUR”. Permasalahan yang diangkat pada Perkembangan Tari Topeng Tunggal ini ialah untuk melihat perbedaan Tari Topeng Tunggal dari tahun 1970 dan sekarang dilihat dari segi struktur koreografi, rias dan busana, serta musik pengiring. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan memperoleh gambaran secara umum tentang perkembangan dan perubahan yang terjadi didalamnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode deskriptif analisis guna memperoleh gambaran mengenai fenomena permasalahan penelitian. Adapun hasil penelitian, bahwa perkembangan Tari Topeng Tunggal mengalami beberapa fase perkembangan, dari mulai pertama kali diciptakan, Tari Topeng Tunggal di tahun 1970 dan Tari Topeng Tunggal di tahun 1998, hingga perkembangan Tari Topeng Tunggal dewasa ini. Mulai dari gerak, busana dan iringan musiknya. Ketiga unsur tersebut mengalami perubahan dari durasi penyajian, busana warna yang dikenakan lebih mencolok, sedangkan iringan musik mengami penambahan alat. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Tari Topeng Tunggal masih dapat mempertahankan keberadaannya hingga kini walaupun mengalami beberapa perubahan. Oleh karena itu direkomendasikan kepada seluruh pecinta seni tradisi agar dapat melestarikannya melalui proses pembelajaran yang lebih intens baik di sekolah formal maupun di sekolah nonformal.

Abstract: This study, entitled "TARI TOPENG TUNGGAL IN PROGRESS VILLAGE EAST JAKARTA CIRACAS CIBUBUR DISTRICT". Issues raised in the development of the Single Mask Dance is to see the difference Tari Topeng Tunggal of 1970 and is now viewed in terms of the structure of the choreography, makeup and clothing, as well as musical accompaniment. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain a general overview of the developments and changes that occur therein. The method used in this study descriptive method of analysis in order to obtain an overview of the phenomenon of research problems. The results of the study, that the development of the Tari Topeng Tunggal undergone several phases of development, from the start it was first created, Tari Topeng Tunggal in 1970 and Tari Topeng Tunggal in 1998, until the development of the Tari Topeng Tunggal today. Start of the motion, clothing and musical accompaniment. The third element of changing the duration of the presentation, the color of clothing worn more prominently, whereas the addition mengami musical accompaniment instrument. It can be concluded that the Tari Topeng Tunggal is still able to maintain its existence until now, despite experiencing some changes. It is therefore recommended to all lovers of traditional art in order to preserve it through the process learning more intense in both the school formal and non-formal schools.
