Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan siswa kelas XI SMK Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School dalam menulis karangan eksposisi yang masih rendah, terbukti dengan hasil penilaian yang belum melampaui kriteria ketuntasan minimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui: 1) kemampuan siswa kelas XI SMK Daarut Tauhiid dalam menulis karangan eksposisi sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran integratif, 2) kemampuan siswa kelas XI SMK Daarut Tauhiid dalam menulis karangan eksposisi setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran integratif, 3) perbedaan antara kemampuan siswa kelas XI SMK Daarut Tauhiid dalam menulis karangan eksposisi di kelas eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran integratif dengan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran integratif. Peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran integratif, yaitu model pembelajaran yang menggabungkan beberapa materi pelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain penelitian pretest-postest control group. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dari data hasil prates dan pascates menggunakan derajat kebebasan 41 diketahui harga ttabel dengan taraf signifikansi 5% atau taraf kepercayaan 95% adalah 1,683, sedangkan nilai thitung adalah 2,08. Hal ini berarti thitung (2,08) > ttabel (1,683) sehingga disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis kerja dapat diterima, yaitu penggunaan model pembelajaran integratif efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis karangan eksposisi siswa kelas XI SMK Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School. The research based on SMK Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School class XI's student skill in wring exposition essay which still low, proven by scoring result which not exceeded minimum criteria. This research aims to determine: 1) SMK Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School class XI's student skill in writing expositin essay before using integrative teaching method, 2) SMK Daarut Tauhiid Boarding Scholl class XI's student skill in writing expositin essay after using integrative teaching method, 3) Significant difference between SMK Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School class XI's student skill in writing exposition essay in experiment class before and after using integrative teaching method in controlled class compared to class not using integrative teaching method. Author using integrative teaching model, a teaching model which combine different teaching material in teaching process. Method which is used in this research is quasi experiment method with pretest-postest control group research design. Based on hypothesized test from pre-test and post-test data results using the degrees of freedom 41 discovered ttable value with a significance level 5% and trust level 95% is 1,683, while the value of thitung is 2,08. This mean thitung (2,08) > ttable (1,683). Based on those test results we can conclude that hypothesized work is acceptable, namely the use of integrative teaching model effectively used in SMK Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School class XI exposition essay writing teaching
