Abstract
Sumber daya manusia merupakan asset utama perusahaan dan mempunyai peran yang strategis yakni sebagai pemikir, perencana, dan pengendali aktivitas perusahaan dalam membentuk kinerja unggul. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Departemen Food and Beverage Hotel Horison Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini mengambil seluruh populasi sebagai sampel 40 orang karyawan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analis aregresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Indikator terendah pada variabel motivasi terdapat pada (kebutuhan berkuasa). Sedangkan indikator terendah pada variabel disiplin kerja adalah ketepatan waktu pada saat masuk jam kerja (kehadiran). Saran dari penelitian perusahaan mengadakan briefing berkala / menyusun acara gathering secara rutin setiap tahunnya untuk meningkatkan kerjasama antar karyawan. Sementara untuk meningkatkan disiplin kerja Secara berkala perusahaan mengadakan monitoring serta memberlakukan punishment dan reward pada karyawan. Human resources are the main asset and the company has a strategic role as the thinker, planner, and controlling activities of the company in the form of superior performance The research was conducted in the Department of Food and Beverage Hotel Horison Bandung. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation and discipline on employee performance. This study took a sample of the entire population as 40 employees. Methods of data analysis used was double linier regression analysis with the help of the program SPSS. This research result showed that motivation and discipline affect the performance of employees. Indicator low on motivation variables contained in (need for power). While the lowest indicators in the variable labor discipline is punctuality at entry business hours (attendance). Suggestions from research companies conduct periodic briefings / arrange regular gatherings every year to increase collaboration among employees. While working to improve the discipline of the company held periodically monitor and enforce punishments and rewards to employees
