    Abstract

    Kemandirian belajar merupakan salah satu dimensi penting dalam profil pelajar Pancasila yang perlu dikembangkan pada peserta didik sekolah dasar. Observasi di salah satu sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung menunjukkan rendahnya kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Hal ini bisa disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya alah belum diterapkannya sebuah model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar pserta didik. Model pembelajaran RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) merupakan pendekatan inovatif yang berorientasi pada peserta didik dengan lima sintaks terstruktur yang mendorong pembelajaran mandiri dan aktif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis pre-eksperimen yang menggunakan desain one group pre-test pos-ttest. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V di sebuah sekolah di kota Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran RADEC terhadap peningkatan kemandirian belajar peserta didik sekolah dasar pada mata pelajaran IPS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan profil kemandirian belajar setelah perlakuan. Dengan demikian, model RADEC terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Independent learning is one of the important dimensions in the Pancasila student profile that needs to be developed in elementary school students. Observations at an elementary school in Bandung showed that students had low levels of independent learning. This could be due to several factors, one of which is the lack of a learning model that can improve students' independent learning. The RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) learning model is an innovative, learner-oriented approach with five structured syntaxes that encourage independent and active learning. The method used in this study was a quantitative pre-experimental method using a one-group pre-test post-test design. The population and sample in this study were fifth-grade students at a school in the city of Bandung. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the RADEC learning model in increasing the learning independence of elementary school students in social studies. The results showed an increase in the learning independence profile after the treatment. Thus, the RADEC model proved to be effective in increasing student learning independence.
