    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan ladder drill dengan metode repetisi (repetition method) dan interval. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan two group pretest-postest design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah atlet bola basket SMPN 2 Cimahi sebanyak 24 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah populasi seluruhnya dijadikan sampel penelitian. Instrumen tes yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Illionis Agility Test. Analisis data menggunakan uji Shapiro-Wilk, Levene Statistics, Paired Sample T-Test, Independent Sample T-Test dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa : 1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan latihan ladder drill dengan metode repetisi (repetitiom method) terhadap peningkatan kelincahan atlet bola basket, 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan latihan ladder drill dengan metode interval terhadap peningkatan kelincahan tubuh atlet bola basket, 3) Latihan ladder drill dengan metode repetisi (repetition method) tidak lebih berpengaruh yang signifikan dibandingakan dengan latihan ladder drill dengan metode interval terhadap peningkatan kelincahan atlet bola basket. This study aims to determine the effect of ladder drill training using the repetition method and interval method. The research employed an experimental approach with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 24 basketball athletes from SMPN 2 Cimahi. The sampling technique used was total sampling, in which the entire population was included as research subjects. The instrument used to measure agility was the Illionis Agility Test. Data analysis was conducted using the Shapiro-Wilk test, Levene’s test, Paired Sample t-Test, and Independent Sample t-Test with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Ladder drill training using the repetition method has a significant effect on improving the agility of basketball athletes; (2) Ladder drill training using the interval method also has a significant effect on improving the athletes’ body agility; (3) However, the repetition method does not have a significantly greater effect than the interval method in improving agility among basketball athletes.
