    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk yakuwarigo, khususnya roujingo, yang muncul dalam game Genshin Impact. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menganalisis padanan roujingo dengan hyoujungo serta alasan penggunaannya oleh karakter Faruzan. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan teori yakuwarigo yang dikemukakan oleh Kinsui (2014) dan didukung oleh website Anime Manga no Nihon-go (The Japan Foundation, 2020) untuk mengkaji bentuk roujingo dan padanannya dalam hyoujungo. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik simak dan catat. Data diperoleh dari kalimat roujingo yang terdapat dalam Voice-Over pada bagian Profile karakter Faruzan, yaitu seorang akademisi senior di Akademiya Sumeru yang berpenampilan sebagai wanita muda namun sudah berusia lebih dari seratus tahun. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh tiga hasil analisis utama. Pertama, terdapat 17 satuan lingual roujingo yang terbagi ke dalam enam kategori kelas kata. Kedua, keseluruhan satuan lingual tersebut memiliki padanan dalam hyoujungo. Ketiga, penggunaan roujingo oleh Faruzan tidak hanya merepresentasikan usia, tetapi juga menunjukkan status sosial, otoritas, dan kecerdasannya. Yakuwarigo berperan penting dalam membentuk identitas karakter melalui bahasa, khususnya dalam media game. Temuan ini juga dapat menambah wawasan bagi pembelajar bahasa Jepang, khususnya dalam bidang linguistik dan yakuwarigo. This study aims to identify the forms of yakuwarigo, particularly roujingo, that appear in the game Genshin Impact. In addition, the study analyzes the correspondences between roujingo and hyoujungo, as well as the reasons for the use of roujingo by the character Faruzan. The analysis employs the theory of yakuwarigo proposed by Kinsui (2014) and is supported by the website Anime Manga no Nihon-go (The Japan Foundation, 2020) to examine the forms of roujingo and their equivalents in hyoujungo. The research method applied is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation and note-taking techniques. The data were obtained from roujingo utterances found in the Voice-Over section of Faruzan’s Profile, a senior scholar at the Akademiya of Sumeru who outwardly appears as a young woman but is in fact over one hundred years old. This study produced three main findings. First, there are 17 roujingo linguistic units classified into six categories of parts of speech. Second, all of these linguistic units have equivalents in hyoujungo. Third, Faruzan’s use of roujingo does not merely represent age, but also indicates her social status, authority, and intelligence. Yakuwarigo plays an important role in shaping character identity through language, particularly in video games. These findings may also provide valuable insights for learners of Japanese, especially in the fields of linguistics and yakuwarigo. 本研究の目的は、ゲーム『原神』において現れる役割語、特に老人語の形式を明らかにすることである。さらに、老人語と標準語の対応関係、およびキャラクター「ファルザン」による老人語使用の理由を分析することも目的とする。本研究の分析には、金水敏（2014）の役割語理論を用い、日本語教育支援サイト「アニメ・マンガの日本語」（国際交流基金、2020）も参考資料とした。研究方法は記述的・質的研究であり、データ収集には「観察」と「記録」の技法を用いた。データは、スメール教令院の高位学者でありながら若い女性の姿を持ち、実年齢は百歳を超えるファルザンのプロフィールにある「ボイスオーバー」から収集された。分析の結果、三つの主要な知見が得られた。第一に、17の老人語の言語単位が六つの品詞カテゴリーに分類されたこと。第二に、それらすべてに標準語での対応表現が存在すること。第三に、ファルザンによる老人語の使用は、年齢の表現にとどまらず、社会的地位、権威、そして知性を示していることである。役割語は、ゲームにおいてキャラクターの言語的アイデンティティを形成する上で重要な役割を果たしていることが明らかになった。本研究の成果は、日本語学習者、特に言語学や役割語に関心を持つ学習者にとって、有益な知見を提供するものである。
