    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di SMP Negeri 29 Bandung akibat dominasi metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran deep learning berbantuan platform Genially terhadap pemahaman peserta didik kelas VII. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen tipe non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 33 siswa kelas VII G (kelas eksperimen) yang mendapatkan pembelajaran deep learning berbantuan Genially dan 33 siswa kelas VII C (kelas kontrol) yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pemahaman (pretest dan posttest). Hasil analisis menunjukkan rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 85,24 dengan N-Gain 0,67 (kategori sedang-tinggi), sedangkan kelas kontrol memperoleh rata-rata posttest 73,12 dengan N-Gain 0,42 (kategori rendah-sedang). Uji-t independen menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan peningkatan pemahaman secara signifikan antara kedua kelas. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah model deep learning berbantuan Genially efektif meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi deep learning dan media interaktif Genially sebagai strategi inovatif untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik, memfasilitasi pembelajaran bermakna, serta memperkuat capaian kognitif dalam Pendidikan Pancasila. This research was motivated by the low level of students’ understanding in the Pancasila Education subject at SMP Negeri 29 Bandung, caused by the dominance of conventional teaching methods that are less interactive. This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the deep learning model assisted by the Genially platform on the understanding of seventh-grade students. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 33 students from class VII G (experimental class) who received deep learning instruction assisted by Genially, and 33 students from class VII C (control class) who received conventional teaching. The research instrument was an understanding test (pretest and posttest). The results showed that the experimental class achieved a posttest average score of 85.24 with an N-Gain of 0.67 (medium-high category), while the control class achieved a posttest average score of 73.12 with an N-Gain of 0.42 (low-medium category). An independent t-test produced a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference in the improvement of understanding between the two classes. The study concludes that the deep learning model assisted by Genially is effective in improving students’ understanding compared to conventional learning. These findings recommend integrating deep learning and Genially as an innovative strategy to enhance active student engagement, facilitate meaningful learning, and strengthen cognitive achievement in Pancasila Education.
