    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan servis backhand bulutangkis siswa melalui penerapan media dinding berbasis pendekatan deep learning (joyful, mindful, meaningful). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus dan melibatkan 33 siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 12 Bandung. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi teknik servis yang menilai akurasi, posisi tubuh, dan konsistensi ayunan. Hasil pretest menunjukkan 13 siswa (39,39 %) tuntas; setelah Siklus I ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 17 siswa (51,52 %); dan pada akhir Siklus II mencapai 20 siswa (71,43 %), sehingga target klasikal (≥ 70 %) terpenuhi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan media dinding dengan strategi deep learning efektif meningkatkan keterampilan servis dan membangun kemampuan reflektif serta kemandirian belajar siswa. This study aims to enhance eighth-grade students’ backhand serve skills in badminton through the implementation of wall-based training media grounded in a deep-learning approach (joyful, mindful, meaningful). A Classroom Action Research design was employed over two cycles, involving 33 students at SMPN 12 Bandung. Data were collected using an observational checklist assessing serve accuracy, body positioning, and swing consistency. The pretest results showed that 13 students (39.39 %) achieved mastery (KKM ≥ 70). After Cycle I, mastery increased to 17 students (51.52 %), and by the end of Cycle II, 20 students (71.43 %) met the criterion, thus fulfilling the classical success threshold (≥ 70 %). These findings confirm that integrating simple wall media with deep-learning strategies effectively improves serve skills while fostering students’ reflective capacity and learning autonomy.
