    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dan sustainability awareness siswa melalui pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis etnosains lamang tapai. Media pembelajaran interaktif ini dibuat menggunakan model pengembangan DDR (Design and Development Research). Sebanyak 60 siswa kelas IX di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kota Padang Sumatera Barat dijadikan sebagai subjek dari penelitian ini dengan dibagi menjadi dua kelas. Karakteristik media yang dikembangkan yaitu, 1) adanya kontekstualisasi materi melalui pembelajaran berbasis etnosains; 2) media pembelajaran interaktif memiliki aktivitas pembelajaran untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains dan sustainability awareness; 3) interaktifitas konten pembelajaran dalam media pembelajaran interaktif; 4) responsif terhadap umpan balik. Hasil analisis kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif dikategorikan layak atau valid dengan nilai rata-rata validitas media 4,15 atau 83%. Uji Mann-Whitney U diterapkan untuk mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata keterampilan proses sains antar kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berdampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan nilai pretest (M = 51.51, SD = 14.29) dan posttest (M = 85.59, SD = 5.85) pada kelas eksperimen dan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0.000. Perolehan n-gain kelas eksperimen sebesar <g> = 0.68 yang diinterpretasikan pada kategori sedang, sedangkan perolehan pada kelas kontrol sebesar <g> = 0.10 berada pada kategori rendah. Tingkat sustainability awareness siswa pada kelas eksperimen memiliki persentase 91,20% yang lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol yaitu 80,70% pada aspek emotional awareness, 92,20% pada kelas eksperimen dan 82,10 % di kelas kontrol pada aspek behavioral and attitude awareness, 90,70% di kelas eksperimen dan 78,30% di kelas kontrol pada aspek practice awareness. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dan sustainability awareness siswa pada kelas eksperimen. Respon siswa terhadap media juga sangat positif dengan persentase 90.6% yang menunjukkan penerimaan yang sangat baik dari siswa terhadap inovasi ini. This study aims to improve students' science process skills and sustainability awareness through the development of interactive learning media based on the ethnoscience of lamang tapai. This interactive learning media was created using the DDR (Design and Development Research) development model. A total of 60 ninth-grade students at a public junior high school in Padang City, West Sumatra were used as subjects of this study, divided into two classes. The characteristics of the media developed were, 1) the contextualization of the material through ethnoscience-based learning; 2) interactive learning media have learning activities to practice science process skills and sustainability awareness; 3) interactivity of learning content in interactive learning media; 4) responsiveness to feedback. The results of the feasibility analysis showed that the interactive learning media was categorized as feasible or valid with an average media validity value of 4.15 or 83%. The Mann-Whitney U test was applied to determine the average difference in science process skills between groups. The results of the study showed that interactive learning media had a significant impact on improving students' science process skills with pretest scores (M = 51.51, SD = 14.29) and posttest (M = 85.59, SD = 5.85) in the experimental class and a significance level of 0.000. The n-gain of the experimental class was <g> = 0.68 which was interpreted in the medium category, while the gain in the control class was <g> = 0.10 which was in the low category. The level of sustainability awareness of students in the experimental class had a percentage of 91.20% which was higher than the control class, namely 80.70% in the emotional awareness aspect, 92.20% in the experimental class and 82.10% in the control class in the behavioral and attitude awareness aspect, 90.70% in the experimental class and 78.30% in the control class in the practice awareness aspect. This indicates an increase in students' science process skills and sustainability awareness in the experimental class. Student response to the media was also very positive with a percentage of 90.6% indicating very good acceptance from students towards this innovation.
