    Abstract

    Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh integrasi model pembelajaran kooperatif Number Head Together (NHT) yang dipadukan dengan media video animasi terhadap perkembangan keterampilan menulis teks narasi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas kombinasi model NHT dan media video animasi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis narasi siswa serta membandingkan hasilnya dengan metode konvensional. Rendahnya keterampilan menulis siswa menjadi latar belakang penelitian, yang terlihat dari kesulitan siswa dalam mengekspresikan ide dan gagasan secara tertulis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes uraian dan observasi aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 45 siswa yang dipilih secara purposif dari populasi target, kemudian dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen (yang menerima perlakuan) dan kelompok kontrol (yang menggunakan metode konvensional). Analisis data mengungkapkan bahwa penggunaan model NHT yang didukung oleh media video animasi memberikan peningkatan positif sebesar 23,7% terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa. Selain itu, hasil pengujian N-Gain pada kelompok eksperimen mencapai 46,26%, yang tergolong dalam kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, implementasi model pembelajaran Number Head Together (NHT) dengan bantuan media video animasi terbukti mampu menjadi pendekatan alternatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks narasi pada siswa. ----- This study examines the impact of integrating the Number Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model, combined with animated video media, on the development of students' narrative text-writing skills. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of combining the NHT model with animated video media in enhancing students' narrative writing skills and to compare the results with those obtained from conventional methods. The low level of students' writing skills is the background of the study, which can be seen from their difficulty in expressing ideas and ideas in writing. This study employed a quasi-experimental design involving pre-test and post-test measurements. Data collection techniques were conducted through a description test and observation of students' activities during learning. The research sample consisted of 45 students who were purposively selected from the target population and then divided into two groups, namely the experimental group (who received the treatment) and the control group (who used conventional methods). Data analysis revealed that the use of the NHT model, supported by animated video media, resulted in a 23.7% positive increase in students' narrative writing ability. Additionally, the results of N-Gain testing in the experimental group reached 46.26%, which falls within the medium category. Based on the study's results, the implementation of the Number Head Together (NHT) learning model, aided by animated video media, proved to be an effective learning tool.
