Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisis fenomena alih kode dan campur kode, yang merupakan bagian penting dalam kajian sosiolinguistik, pada video podcast Domani Siblings di YouTube. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk, jenis, dan faktor yang mempengaruhi fenomena alih kode dan campur kode dalam konten podcast Domani Siblings. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 70 kasus alih kode dan 67 kasus campur kode, yang masing-masing memperlihatkan karakteristik spesifik terkait bentuk, jenis, dan faktor penyebabnya, mencerminkan dinamika bahasa dalam konteks media digital. Alih kode didominasi oleh bentuk kalimat dan klausa, dengan faktor penyebab meliputi penutur, perubahan situasi, dan topik pembicaraan. Campur kode didominasi oleh bentuk kata dan frasa, dengan campur kode ke dalam lebih banyak ditemukan dibandingkan campur kode ke luar. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa fenomena alih kode dan campur kode dalam podcast Domani Siblings dipengaruhi oleh faktor sosial, profesional, dan komunikatif yang kompleks, memberikan wawasan baru tentang dinamika bahasa dalam media digital. Kata kunci: sosiolinguistik, alih kode, campur kode, YouTube, media digital This study analyzes the phenomenon of code-switching and code-mixing, which is an important part of sociolinguistic studies, in Domani Siblings podcast videos on YouTube. This study aims to describe the forms, types, and factors that influence the phenomenon of code-switching and code-mixing in Domani Siblings podcast content. The results show 70 cases of code-switching and 67 cases of code-mixing, each of which shows specific characteristics related to the form, type, and causal factors, reflecting the dynamics of language in the context of digital media. Code switching is dominated by sentence and clause forms, with causal factors including speakers, situation change, and topic of conversation. Code-mixing is dominated by word and phrase forms, with inward code-mixing found more than outward code mixing. This study shows that the phenomenon of code-switching and code-mixing in the Domani Siblings podcast is influenced by complex social, professional, and communicative factors, providing new insights into the dynamics of language in digital media.
