Abstract

Kerjasama antara orang tua dan guru memiliki peran krusial dalam mengembangkan kemandirian anak usia dini. Anak yang mandiri cenderung lebih percaya diri, mampu menyelesaikan tugas sendiri, serta memiliki keterampilan sosial yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk kerjasama antara orang tua dan guru, serta faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam upaya mengembangkan kemandirian anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelititan single case study. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari orang tua, guru di lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang baik, keterlibatan aktif orang tua di lingkungan sekolah, serta metode pengasuhan yang konsisten antara rumah dan sekolah menjadi faktor utama dalam membangun kemandirian anak. Selain itu, program sekolah yang mendukung anak untuk belajar mandiri, seperti tugas harian dan aktivitas berbasis eksplorasi, juga berperan penting. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan waktu orang tua, kurangnya pemahaman akan pola asuh yang sesuai, serta perbedaan pendekatan antara guru dan orang tua yang dapat menghambat perkembangan kemandirian anak. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan sinergi antara orang tua dan guru guna menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi tumbuh kembang anak secara optimal. ----- The collaboration between parents and teachers plays a crucial role in developing the independence of early childhood. Independent children tend to be more confident, capable of completing tasks on their own, and possess good social skills. This study aims to analyze the forms of collaboration between parents and teachers, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in fostering independence in early childhood. research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a single case study design. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The study's informants include parents, teachers in early childhood education institutions. The findings indicate that effective communication, active parental involvement in school activities, and consistent parenting methods between home and school are key factors in fostering children's independence. Additionally, school programs that encourage independent learning, such as daily tasks and exploration-based activities, also play a significant role. However, the study also identifies several challenges, including parents' limited time, lack of understanding of appropriate parenting strategies, and differences in approaches between teachers and parents that can hinder the development of children's independence. Therefore, more effective strategies are needed to enhance synergy between parents and teachers in creating a supportive environment for children's optimal growth and development.
