Masalah Literasi Numerasi ditinjau dari Habits of Mind (Studi pada Literasi
Numerasi Materi SPLDV).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kemampuan penalaran
matematis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah literasi numerasi ditinjau dari habits
of mind, mengidentifikasi kesulitan dan faktor penyebab yang dihadapi siswa dalam
memecahkan masalah literasi numerasi ditinjau dari habits of mind, dan
mendeskripsikan alternatif solusi untuk mengembangkan penalaran matematis siswa
dalam memecahkan masalah literasi numerasi ditinjau dari habits of mind. Penelitian
ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus.
Subjek penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP di Kota Bandung,
Provinsi Jawa Barat. Data dalam penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan angket
habits of mind, tes kemampuan penalaran matematis, dan pedoman wawancara untuk
mengkonfirmasi habits of mind, kemampuan penalaran matematis, dan kemampuan
pemecahan masalah siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki
penalaran matematis yang beragam pada setiap kategori habits of mind, yaitu
terdapat siswa dengan kemampuan penalaran matematis yang tinggi-sedang pada
kelompok habits of mind tinggi, terdapat siswa dengan kemampuan penalaran
matematis tinggi-sedang-rendah pada kelompok habits of mind sedang, dan terdapat
siswa dengan kemampuan penalaran matematis sedang-rendah pada kelompok
habits of mind rendah. Faktor utama penyebab kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam
melakukan penalaran disebabkan oleh faktor pengetahuan prasyarat,
faktor
memahami informasi, dan faktor motivasi. Upaya secara teoritis untuk
mengembangkan penalaran matematis siswa adalah menyajikan desain
pembelajaran berupa pembelajaran remedial dengan berfokus pada indikator
penalaran matematis dalam pembelajaran.

This study aims to describe the level of students' mathematical reasoning ability in
solving numeracy literacy problems in terms of habits of mind, identify difficulties
and causal factors faced by students in solving numeracy literacy problems in terms
of habits of mind, and describe alternative solutions to develop students'
mathematical reasoning in solving numeracy literacy problems in terms of habits of
mind. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study research design.
The subjects of this study were 30 students of eight grade in one of the junior high
schools in Bandung City, West Java Province. Data in the study were collected
using a habits of mind questionnaire, mathematical reasoning ability test, and
interview guidelines to confirm students' habits of mind, mathematical reasoning
ability, and problem-solving ability. The results of the analysis show that students
have diverse mathematical reasoning in each category of habits of mind, namely
there are students with high-moderate mathematical reasoning ability in the high
habits of mind group, there are students with high-moderate-low mathematical
reasoning ability in the moderate habits of mind group, and there are students with
moderate-low mathematical reasoning ability in the low habits of mind group. The
main factors causing difficulties experienced by students in reasoning are caused by
prerequisite knowledge, information understanding, and motivational factors. The
theoretical effort to develop students' mathematical reasoning is to present a
learning design such as remedial learning by focusing on indicators of mathematical
reasoning in learning.
