Abstract
Latar belakang dari penelitian ini belum maksimalnya pelaksanaan literasi budaya dan kewargaan di sekolah dasar. Selain itu, dengan guru masih menggunakan metode konvensional, sehingga peserta didik kurang memahami hak, kewajiban, dan nilai-nilai budaya lokal khususnya di daerah perbatasan Entikong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Go Buya yang layak untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya dan kewargaan sekolah dasar kelas IV di perbatasan Entikong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design and Development Research yang dipopulerkan dari Riche dan Klein (2007). Prosedur pengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) yang di populerkan oleh Reiser dan Mollenda (1996). Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah guru dan peserta didik kelas IV SD yang berada di kecamatan Entikong. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, kuesioner, lembar validasi, lembar kegiatan peserta didik terkait tes evaluasi, dan focus group discussion (FGD). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Pengembangan media pembelajaran Go Buya sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya dan kewargaan di sekolah dasar; 2) Media pembelajaran Go Buya merupakan inovasi pendidikan yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya dan kewargaan peserta didik sekolah dasar; 3) Pengembangan media pembelajaran Go Buya meningkatkan literasi budaya dan kewargaan peserta didik di perbatasan Entikong; 4) Hasil implementasi media pembelajaran Go Buya menunjukkan efektivitas tinggi dalam meningkatkan literasi budaya dan kewargaan peserta didik; 5) Penggunaan media Go Buya meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik secara signifikan, memperkuat pemahaman literasi budaya dan kewargaan di perbatasan. Simpulan penelitian adalah media pembelajaran Go Buya efektif meningkatkan literasi budaya dan kewargaan peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar di perbatasan Entikong. Oleh karena itu, media pembelajaran Go Buya dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran di SD untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya dan kewargaan. The background of this study is that the implementation of cultural literacy and citizenship in elementary schools has not been maximized. In addition, teachers still use conventional methods, so students do not understand the rights, obligations, and values of local culture, especially in the border area of Entikong. This research aims to develop a feasible Go Buya learning media to improve cultural literacy and citizenship in grade IV elementary schools on the Entikong border. The research method used is Design and Development Research popularized by Riche and Klein (2007). The learning media development procedure uses analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) which was popularized by Reiser and Mollenda (1996). The participants in this study are teachers and students of grade IV elementary school in Entikong district. Data collection through observations, questionnaires, validation sheets, student activity sheets related to evaluation tests, and focus group discussions (FGD). The results of the study show that 1) The development of Go Buya learning media is indispensable to improve cultural literacy and citizenship in elementary schools; 2) Go Buya learning media is an educational innovation designed to improve cultural literacy and citizenship of elementary school students; 3) The development of Go Buya learning media to increase cultural literacy and citizenship of students at the Entikong border; 4) The results of the implementation of Go Buya learning media show high effectiveness in improving students' cultural literacy and citizenship; 5) The use of Go Buya media significantly improves students' learning outcomes, strengthens the understanding of cultural literacy and citizenship at the border. The study concludes that Go Buya learning media effectively improves the cultural literacy and citizenship of grade IV elementary school students on the Entikong border. Therefore, Go Buya learning media can be used as one of the alternative learning media that can be used in learning in elementary school to improve cultural literacy and citizenship.
