Abstract
Kosakata memiliki peranan penting dalam mendukung keterampilan berbahasa, seperti menyimak, membaca, berbicara, dan menulis. Oleh sebab itu, penguasaan kosakata yang baik dalam bahan ajar menjadi elemen penting dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran suatu bahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan penerjemahan kosakata pada buku ajar Bahasa Korea Terpadu untuk Orang Indonesia Jilid 3 dan 4. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan penerapan teori Surface Strategy Taxonomy dari Dulay (1982) dan teori metode penerjemahan Newmark (1988). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis kesalahan paling dominan terjadi pada kesalahbentukan (misformation), yaitu sebanyak 104 kosakata (81%) pada buku jilid 3 dan 123 kosakata (87%) pada buku jilid 4. Sedangkan pada metode penerjemahan menunjukkan bahwa metode harfiah paling dominan digunakan, yaitu sebanyak 36 kosakata (28%) pada buku jilid 3 dan 56 kosakata (40%) pada buku jilid 4. Faktor penyebab kesalahan meliputi penambahan atau pengurangan elemen penting, kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai konteks budaya, serta perbedaan struktur kalimat antara BSu dan BSa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan bagi pendidik, pemelajar, penyusun buku ajar, serta penulis untuk memastikan kesesuaian materi dalam buku ajar dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran.
Vocabulary has an important role in supporting language skills, such as listening, reading, speaking and writing. Therefore, good vocabulary mastery in teaching materials is an important element in supporting the language learning process. This research aims to analyze vocabulary translation errors in the Integrated Korean Language textbook for Indonesians Volumes 3 and 4. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with the application of Dulay's (1982) Surface Strategy Taxonomy theory and Newmark's (1988) translation method theory. The results of the research show that the most dominant type of error occurs in misformation, namely 104 vocabularies (81%) in book volume 3 and 123 vocabularies (87%) in book volume 4. Meanwhile, the translation method shows that the literal method is most dominantly used. , namely 36 vocabularies (28%) in book volume 3 and 56 vocabularies (40%) in book volume 4. Factors causing errors include adding or subtracting important elements, lack of knowledge and understanding regarding cultural context, as well as differences in sentence structure between SL and SL. It is hoped that this research can make a significant contribution to educators, students, textbook compilers and writers to ensure the suitability of the material in textbooks with learning needs.
어휘는 듣기, 읽기, 말하기, 쓰기와 같은 언어 능력을 지원하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다. 따라서, 교재에서 어휘를 잘 다루는 것은 언어 학습 과정을 지원하는 데 필수적인 요소이다. 본 연구는 인도네시아인을 위한 종합 한국어 교재 3권과 4권에서 발견된 어휘 번역 오류를 분석하는 데 목적을 둔다. 본 연구는 Dulay(1982)의 표층전략분류 이론과 Newmark(1988)의 번역 방법 이론을 적용한 설명적 질적 연구 방법을 사용하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 가장 많이 발견된 오류 유형은 형태 오류로, 3권에서는 104개(81%), 4권에서는 123개(87%)가 나타났다. 또한, 번역 방법 분석한 결과 직역 번역이 가장 많이 사용되었으며, 3권에서는 36개(28%), 4권에서는 56개(40%)가 나타났다. 오류의 원인으로는 중요한 요소의 추가 또는 생략, 문화적 맥락에 대한 이해 부족, 그리고 원어와 대상 언어 간의 문장 구조 차이가 포함되었다. 본 연구는 교사, 학습자, 교재 집필자 및 저자에게 교재 내용이 학습자의 요구와 일치하도록 개선하는 데 유용한 정보를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
