Abstract
Penelitian ini muncul dari kebutuhan untuk memahami peran media pop-up leaflet dalam meningkatkan Kemampuan Kognitif pada mata pelajaran matematika materi volume bangun ruang di kelas V SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan media pop-up leaflet yang mengadopsi teori Van Hiele pada materi bangun ruang dapat meningkatkan Kemampuan Kognitif peserta didik. Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan peningkatan Kemampuan Kognitif peserta didik pada materi volume bangun ruang yang menggunakan media pop-up leaflet dengan yang tidak menggunakan media pop-up leaflet. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah desain kuasi eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen di dua sekolah dasar yang berbeda yaitu SDN 1 Neglasari dan SDN 3 Neglasari dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 25 orang peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tes Kemampuan Kognitif materi volume bangun ruang pada peserta didik menggunakan 1 indikator dengan masing-masing soal ranah kognitif, seperti C3 (Mengaplikasikan), C4 (Menganalisis), C5 (Mengevaluasi), C6 (Mencipta). Dengan hasil kelas eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata pretest (62.36) dan rata-rata posttest (80.36), sehingga terdapat pengaruh penerapan media pop-up leaflet terhadap Kemampuan Kognitif materi volume bangun ruang, sedangkan data posttest kelas eksperimen (80.36) dan data posttest kelas kontrol (71.24). Maka, hal tersebut menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan kemampuan Kemampuan Kognitif dalam materi volume bangun ruang antara peserta didik yang menggunakan media pop-up leaflet dengan yang tidak menggunakan media pop-up leaflet. --------------------- This research arose from the need to understand the role of pop-up leaflet media in improving learning outcomes in mathematics subjects regarding volume and shape in class V elementary school. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the application of media pop-up leaflet which adopts Van Hiele's theory in spatial construction material can improve student learning outcomes. To find out whether there is a difference in the increase in student learning outcomes in the spatial volume material that uses media pop-up leaflet with those who do not use media pop-up leaflet. The research method applied was a quasi-experimental design with a control class and an experimental class in two different elementary schools, namely SDN 1 Neglasari and SDN 3 Neglasari with a research sample of 25 students. The results of the research show that the learning outcomes test for the volume of space material for students uses 1 indicator with each cognitive domain question, such as C3 (Applying), C4 (Analyzing), C5 (Evaluating), C6 (Creating). With the results of the experimental class, the pretestaverage was (62.36) and the posttest average was (80.36), so there was an influence of the application of pop-up leaflet media on the learning outcomes of building volume material, while the experimental class posttest data was (80.36) and the class posttest data control (71.24). So, this shows that there is a difference in the ability of learning outcomes in the spatial volume material between students who use pop-up leaflet media and those who do not use pop-up leaflet media.
