Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal dan couple resilience terhadap kepuasan pernikahan pada individu yang menjalani long distance marriage. Desain penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan data dianalisis menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, uji beda, dan uji hipotesis dalam software IBM SPSS 30. Teknik analisis untuk pengujian hipotesis meliputi regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda. Partisipan meliputi 139 individu yang menjalani pernikahan jarak jauh. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan diantaranya instrumen komunikasi interpersonal yang dirancang Muslihah (2014), Couple Resilience Inventory (CRI) yang dibuat Sanford (2016), dan ENRICH Marital Satisfaction (EMS) yang disusun Fowers & Olson (1993). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari komunikasi interpersonal dan couple resilience terhadap kepuasan pernikahan baik secara terpisah ataupun bersamaan. Peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat memperkaya kajian couple resilience karena penelitian terdahulu yang masih terbatas. This study aims to empirically examine the influence of interpersonal communication and couple resilience on marital satisfaction among individuals in long-distance marriages. The research design is quantitative, and data were analyzed using classical assumption tests, group difference tests, and hypothesis tests in IBM SPSS software version 30. The analysis techniques for hypothesis testing include simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. Participants consisted of 139 individuals in long-distance marriages. The research instruments used included the interpersonal communication instrument designed by Muslihah (2014), the Couple Resilience Inventory (CRI) created by Sanford (2016), and the ENRICH Marital Satisfaction (EMS) developed by Fowers & Olson (1993). The results indicate that both interpersonal communication and couple resilience have a significant impact on marital satisfaction, whether separately or together. Future researchers are expected to further enrich the study of couple resilience, as previous research on this topic is still limited.
