Abstract
Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang efektivitas teknik permainan Sentence Stock Exchange (SSE) dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman teks bahasa Perancis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan (1) proses penerapan teknik permainan SSE dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman teks bahasa Perancis; (2) perbedaan yang signifikan dari hasil belajar mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan teknik permainan SSE; (3) tingkat efektivitas penggunaan teknik permainan SSE; (4) tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan teknik permainan SSE dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman teks bahasa Perancis. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 20 orang mahasiswa semester III Departemen Pendidikan Bahasa Perancis FPBS UPI Tahun Akademik 2014/2015. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah praeksperimen, yaitu one-group pretest-posttest design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis, angket dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknik permainan SSE efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman teks bahasa Perancis. Kata Kucin: Teknik permainan, Sentence Stock Exchange, Membaca pemahaman This research aims to describe the effectiveness of the technique of game Sentence Stock Exchange (SSE) in reading comprehension learning in French. The objectives of this research are to describe (1) the application process of the game SSE in reading comprehension learning in French (2) a significant difference of the student learning’s result (before and after using the technique of the game SSE); (3) the usage of the game SSE’s technique’s effectiveness level; (4) the response of students about using SSE game techniques in reading comprehension learning in French. The samples of this research were 20 third semester students majoring in French Language Education FPBS UPI Academic Year 2014/2015. The method of this research is pre-experimental, the one-group pretest-posttest design (tested using written tests, questionnaires and observation). The results of this study showed that the SSE game technique is effective to be used in reading comprehension learning in French.
