Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Evaluasi Model Stake Program 5 Bunga Karakter Dalam Meningkatkan Karakter Peserta Didik di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Purwakarta. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah dengan di implementasikannya program 5 bunga karakter di kabupaten purwakarta dan guna mengetahui efektifitas pengimplementasian peogram ini. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas Program 5 Bunga Karakter dalam meningkatkan karakter peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Purwakarta menggunakan model evaluasi Stake dan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan karakter peserta didik, terutama dalam aspek religiusitas, nasionalisme, kemandirian, gotong royong, dan integritas. Namun, ditemukan beberapa tantangan dalam implementasinya, seperti kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang program dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Kesimpulannya, Program 5 Bunga Karakter efektif dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik, tetapi memerlukan penyempurnaan. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pengembangan karakter sejak dini dan peran krusial sekolah dalam proses tersebut. Rekomendasi yang diajukan meliputi peningkatan pelatihan guru, penyediaan sumber daya yang memadai, penguatan kolaborasi antara sekolah dan orang tua, serta evaluasi berkala untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan efektivitas program. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk mengkaji dampak jangka panjang program ini terhadap perkembangan karakter peserta didik dan mengeksplorasi strategi inovatif dalam pendidikan karakter di tingkat sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Model Evaluasi Stake, Program 5 Bunga Karakter, Pendidikan Karakter, Sekolah Dasar This research is entitled Evaluation of the Stake Model of the 5 Flowers of Character Program in Improving the Character of Students in Public Elementary Schools in Purwakarta District. The background of this research is the implementation of the 5 characters flowers program in Purwakarta district and to determine the effectiveness of implementing this program. This study evaluates the effectiveness of the 5 Flowers of Character Program in improving students' character in public primary schools in Purwakarta District using the Stake evaluation model and qualitative methods. The results showed that the program successfully improved learners' character, especially in the aspects of religiosity, nationalism, independence, mutual cooperation, and integrity. However, some challenges were found in its implementation, such as teachers' lack of understanding of the program and limited resources. In conclusion, the 5 Flowers of Character Program is effective in shaping students' character, but requires improvement. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of early character development and the crucial role of schools in the process. Recommendations include improving teacher training, providing adequate resources, strengthening collaboration between schools and parents, and periodic evaluation to ensure program sustainability and effectiveness. Further research is suggested to examine the long-term impact of this program on learners' character development and explore innovative strategies in character education at the primary school level.
