Abstract
Tingkat Pengangguran di Indonesia dari lulusan Perguruan Tinggi (Sarjana dan Diploma) cukup tinggi. Berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) jumlah pengangguran lulusan diploma pada tahun 2022 adalah sebanyak 6,5 juta orang dan pengangguran dari lulusan universitas adalah sebanyak 6,8 juta orang dari total 143,72 juta Angkatan kerja pada tahun 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penguasaan soft skills dan motivasi berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan sehingga diharapkan lulusan perguruan tinggi dapat menyadari akan pentingnya kesiapan kerja dalam menghadapi pasar lapangan pekerjaan serta bisa meningkatkan kesiapan kerjanya melalui motivasi dan penguasaan soft skills. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Data yang diambil adalah data mahasiswa lulusan Fakultas Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis (FPEB) Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia pada tahun 2022, jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah 117 lulusan dari total populasi sebanyak 621 lulusan, serta menggunakan teknik korelasi pearson product moment dan analisis regresi. Dengan menggunakan uji hipotesis analisis uji-t dan uji-f diperoleh hasil bahwa Soft Skills dan Motivasi berpengaruh terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Lulusan FPEB UPI tahun 2022. The unemployment rate in Indonesia for university graduates (bachelor's and diploma) is quite high. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the number of unemployed diploma graduates in 2022 is 6.5 million people and unemployed university graduates are 6.8 million out of a total of 143.72 million workforce in 2022. This research aims to find out whether soft skills and motivation influence graduates' work readiness so that it is hoped college graduates to realize the importance of work readiness in facing the job market and can increase their work readiness through motivation and mastery of soft skills. The research methods that will be used are descriptive and verification methods. The data is from students who graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business Education (FPEB) at the Indonesian Education University in 2022. The number of samples taken was 117 graduates from a total population of 621 graduates and used Pearson product-moment correlation techniques and regression analysis. By using hypothesis testing, t-test, and f-test analysis, the results showed that Mastery of Soft Skills and Motivation influenced the Job Readiness of FPEB UPI Graduates in 2022.
