    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya kemampuan dan pemahaman guru dalam proses pembelajaran, dimana guru masih menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Maka dari itu, dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keaktifan, pengalaman, dan motivasi siswa saat belajar. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model Project Based Learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar pada materi Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya.

    This research is motivated by the low problem-solving skills of students caused by the lack of ability and understanding of teachers in the learning process, where teachers still use conventional learning models. Therefore, by using a more innovative learning model, it is expected to increase student activity, experience, and motivation while learning. Based on these problems, the researcher conducted a study with the aim of determining the application of the Project Based Learning model to improve problem-solving skills of grade IV elementary school students on the material Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya.
