Abstract

Penelitian penciptaan ini berjudul “EKSPLORASI POLA TABUH TAKDUT (KETIPUNG) DALAM KARYA “TAKDUTMAN” SEBAGAI PENDEKATAN KREATIF DALAM PENCIPTAAN KARYA BARU”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi dan mengidentifikasi pola tabuhan takdut yang dapat diintegrasikan dalam komposisi musik kontemporer. Untuk menjawab semua pertanyaan penelitian, maka dilakukan metode penelitian artistik (artistic research) yakni seniman itu sendiri yang meneliti dengan hasil luarannya adalah karya seni. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa eksplorasi pola tabuh takdut tidak hanya memperluas jangkauan teknis dan musikalitas, tetapi juga memberikan ruang bagi improvisasi dan penemuan kreatif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan inovasi musik dan ekspresi artistik baru dalam konteks budaya lokal. This creation research is entitled "EXPLORATION OF THE TABUH TAKDUT (KETIPUNG) PATTERN IN THE WORK "TAKDUTMAN" AS A CREATIVE APPROACH TO THE CREATION OF NEW WORKS". The aim of this research is to explore and identify takdut percussion patterns that can be integrated into contemporary musical compositions. To answer all research questions, an artistic research method (artistic research) is carried out, namely the artist himself does the research with the output being a work of art. The research results show that the exploration of takdut percussion patterns not only broadens the technical range and musicality, but also provides space for improvisation and creative discovery. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of musical innovations and new artistic expressions in local cultural contexts.
