Abstract

Model project based learning terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun. Perkembangan kognitif merupakan salah satu perkembangan yang penting untuk di stimulasi sejak anak usia dini. Salah satu pemberian stimulasi yang dapat diberikan adalah dengan penerapan model project based learning. Perkembangan kognitif merupakan suatu perkembangan yang dapat mempengaruhi aspek belajar dan pemecahan masalah, berpikir logis dan berpikir simbolik. Perkembangan kognitif pada penelitian ini berfokus pada kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan kolaboratif, kemampuan menerapkan pengetahuan yang akan dilakukan, dan kemampuan menerapkan pengetahuan atau pengalaman dalam konteks yang baru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model project based learning. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Istiqomah Pasirdatar Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Populasi pada penelitian ini ialah kelompok B di TK Istiqomah. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh dengan jumlah sampel 15 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil uji N-Gain diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa hasil rata-rata pretest 40,47, sedangkan rata-rata posttest 83,80. Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon memperoleh hasil Asymp.sig (2-tailed) 0,001 < 0,05, maka Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model project based learning memiliki pengaruh terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun. Project based learning model on the cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years. Cognitive development is an important development that needs to be stimulated from an early age. Cognitive development is a development that can influence aspects of learning and problem solving, logical thinking and symbolic thinking. Cognitive development in this research focuses on the ability to think critically, creatively and collaboratively, the ability to apply knowledge to what will be done, and the ability to apply knowledge or experience in new contexts. The aim of this research is to describe the differences in cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years before and after implementing the project based learning model. This research was conducted at the Istiqomah Pasirdatar Kindergarten, Kawalu District, Tasikmalaya City. The research approach used is quantitative using a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was group B at Istiqomah Kindergarten. The sampling technique for this research uses saturated samples with a sample size of 15 children. The data collection technique in this research is observation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The N-Gain test results obtained showed that the average pretest result was 40.47, while the average posttest result was 83.80. Furthermore, based on the results of the hypothesis test using the Wilcoxon test, the Asymp.sig (2-tailed) result was 0.001 < 0.05, so Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that the project based learning model has an influence on the cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years.
