Abstract

Pengajar memiliki peran yang krusial yaitu sebagai ujung tombak penyelenggara proses pembelajaran di lembaga pendidikan nonformal. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan peneliti mengetahui tingkat kepuasan peserta didik pada keterampilan mengajar pengajar lulusan program studi Pendidikan Sejarah Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) di layanan bimbingan belajar Kota Bandung. Mengingat pentingnya mengukur kepuasan peserta didik pada keterampilan mengajar pengajar untuk mengetahui sejauh mana keberhasilan pengajar dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dan harapan peserta didik sebagai bahan evaluasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Secara umum, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kepuasan peserta didik pada keterampilan mengajar pengajar yang dilihat dari aspek penguasaan materi, pemilihan metode pembelajaran, komunikasi, dan pengelolaan kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Adapun sampel penelitiannya yaitu 263 peserta didik SMA/SMK sederajat yang memperoleh pengajaran dari pengajar lulusan program studi Pendidikan Sejarah UPI di layanan bimbingan belajar Kota Bandung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner berskala Likert. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan peserta didik pada keterampilan penguasaan materi memperoleh persentase sebesar 66%, keterampilan pemilihan metode pembelajaran memperoleh persentase sebesar 74%, keterampilan komunikasi memperoleh persentase sebesar 63%, dan keterampilan mengelola kelas memperoleh persentase sebesar 65%. Dengan demikian, secara keseluruhan kepuasan peserta didik pada keterampilan mengajar pengajar lulusan program studi Pendidikan Sejarah UPI di layanan bimbingan belajar Kota Bandung berada pada kategori puas. Teachers have a crucial role as the spearhead of organizing the learning process in non-formal education institutions. This research was motivated by the researcher's interest in knowing the level of student satisfaction with the teaching skills of teachers who graduated from the History Education study program at the University of Education Indonesia (UPI) in Bandung City tutoring services. Given the importance of measuring learner satisfaction with the teaching skills of teachers to determine the extent of the teacher's success in meeting the needs and expectations of students as an evaluation material in the learning process. In general, this study aims to determine how much students' satisfaction with the teaching skills of teachers seen from the aspects of mastery of material, selection of learning methods, communication, and classroom management. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research sample was 263 high school / vocational high school students who received teaching from teachers who graduated from the UPI History Education study program in Bandung City tutoring services. Data collection was conducted using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that students' satisfaction with material mastery skills obtained a percentage of 66%, learning method selection skills obtained a percentage of 74%, communication skills obtained a percentage of 63%, and classroom management skills obtained a percentage of 65%. Thus, overall student satisfaction with the teaching skills of teachers who graduated from the UPI History Education study program in Bandung City tutoring services is in the satisfied category.
