Abstract
Kompetensi pedagogik adalah kemampuan guru dalam memahami
karakteristik peserta didik secara mendalam, menguasai teori belajar
dan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran yang mendidik, dapat
mengembangkan metode dan model pembelajaran yang inovatif,
kreatif dan menyenangkan, mengembangkan kurikulum dan
perangkat pembelajaran sesuai dengan capaian pembelajarannya,
mampu mengevaluasi pembelajaran, dan melakukan refleksi
pembelajaran, mengembangkan bakat dan minat peserta didik,
menggunakan teknologi dan informasi, dapat berkomunikasi secara
efektif, empatik dan santun, sehingga keberhasilan pembelajaran
peserta didik dapat tercapai. Peran kepala sekolah sangat penting
dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru di sekolah melalui
pembinaan yang dilakukannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah
menganalisis pembinaan kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan
kompetensi pedagogik guru di sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan
karena ditemukannya permasalahan kurangnya kemampuan guru
dalam memahami kompetensi pedagogik di sekolah. Penelitian ini
menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik
wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi.
Pedagogic competence is the ability of teachers to understand the
characteristics of students in depth, master learning theories and
educational learning principles, be able to develop innovative,
creative and fun learning methods and models, develop curriculum
and learning tools in accordance with their learning outcomes, be
able to evaluate learning, and conduct learning reflections, develop
students' talents and interests, use technology and information, can
communicate effectively, empathy and politeness, so that the
success of student learning can be achieved. The role of the principal
is very important in improving the pedagogic competence of
teachers in schools through the coaching he conducts. The purpose
of this study is to analyze the coaching of school principals to
improve the pedagogic competence of teachers in schools. This
research was conducted because of the problem of lack of teachers'
ability to understand pedagogic competence in schools. This
research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with interview,
observation and documentation study techniques
