Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan antara Pola Asuh Otoritatif dengan Perilaku Prososial Mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang sedang Mengikuti Program MSIB Batch 6. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan sampel mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang mengikuti program MSIB Batch 6 berjumlah 347 orang yang diambil menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Data pola asuh otoritatif dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan instrumen Pola Asuh Otoritatif dari Yumra (2021) yang telah diadaptasi oleh peneliti, dengan reliabilitas instrumen sebesar r= 0.890. Sedangkan data perilaku prososial diambil dengan menggunakan instrumen Prosocialness Scale dari Caprara dkk (2005) yang telah diterjemahkan oleh Zahirah (2019) dan diadaptasi oleh peneliti dengan reliabilitas instrumen sebesar r= 0,888. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasional dengan uji Spearman’s Rho dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 25 for windows. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh otoritatif memiliki hubungan yang lemah dengan perilaku prososial mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang sedang mengikuti program MSIB Batch 6. Semakin tinggi pola asuh otoritatif yang diterapkan orangtua, maka perilaku prososial mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang sedang mengikuti program MSIB batch 6 akan tinggi. Begitupun sebaliknya, jika pola asuh otoritatif yang diterapkan orangtua semakin rendah, maka perilaku prososial mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang sedang mengikuti program MSIB batch 6 juga akan rendah.

This study aims to determine the relationship between authoritative parenting style and prosocial behavior of Indonesia University Education students who are taking part in the MSIB Batch 6 Program. This study used a quantitative approach, the sample in this study were 347 students of Indonesia University of Education which participating MSIB Batch 6 program who were taken using the convenience sampling technique. Data of authoritative parenting style in this study was taken by the Authoritative Parenting Style instrument from Yumra (2021) which has been adapted by researchers, with instrument reliability r= 0.890. Meanwhile, prosocial behavior data was taken by the Prosocialness Scale instrument from Caprara et al (2005) which has been translated by Zahirah (2019) and adapted by researchers with instrument reliability r= 0.888. The data analysis technique used is correlational with the Spearman’s rho test using SPSS version 25 for windows. The result of this study show that the authoritative parenting has a weak relationship with prosocial behavior in participating the MSIB Batch 6 program among students of Indonesia University of Education. The higher authoritative parenting style applied by parents, the higher the prosocial behavior students of Indonesia University of Education in participating in the MSIB program. Likewise, when the authoritative parenting style applied by parents is low, then the prosocial behavior students of Indonesia University of Education in participating in the MSIB program will also be low.
