    Abstract

    Guru Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) memiliki peran penting dalam pendidikan fisik, olahraga, dan kesehatan di sekolah, termasuk memberikan pelajaran yang inklusif bagi anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami kompetensi guru PJOK di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kelurahan Srengseng dalam mengajar anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus dan mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi serta mengevaluasi efektivitas metode pengajaran yang diterapkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket terbuka yang disebarkan kepada delapan guru PJOK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran akan pentingnya pelatihan dalam mengatasi tantangan anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus cukup tinggi di kalangan responden, tetapi masih ada tantangan dalam hal sumber daya dan pemahaman materi. Solusi yang diterapkan mencakup penerapan strategi pendidikan khusus, kolaborasi antar guru, dan keterlibatan orang tua. Tantangan utama dalam mengajar anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus melibatkan kesabaran, pengawasan ekstra, dan penyesuaian terhadap kebutuhan individual. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan keterampilan dan pemahaman guru PJOK serta peningkatan kerjasama antara guru dan orang tua sangat penting dalam memastikan pembelajaran yang inklusif dan efektif bagi anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah dasar.

    Physical Education, Sports, and Health Education (PJOK) teachers play a crucial role in physical education, sports, and health in schools, including providing inclusive lessons for children with special needs. This study aims to understand the competence of PJOK teachers in State Elementary Schools in Srengseng Subdistrict in teaching children with special needs, identifying challenges faced, and evaluating the effectiveness of teaching methods employed. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection through open questionnaires distributed to eight PJOK teachers. The results show that awareness of the importance of training in overcoming challenges for children with special needs is quite high among respondents, but there are still challenges in terms of resources and understanding of the material. Solutions applied include the implementation of special education strategies, collaboration among teachers, and involvement of parents. The main challenges in teaching children with special needs involve patience, extra supervision, and adjustment to individual needs. In conclusion, improving the skills and understanding of PJOK teachers, as well as enhancing cooperation between teachers and parents, are crucial to ensuring inclusive and effective learning for children with special needs in elementary schools.
