Abstract

Pengaruh metode pemberian tugas (assignment) yang mampu mempengaruhi pemahaman siswa dalam menggambar konstruksi atap. Metode pemberian tugas (assignment) diberikan kepada siswa untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Tujuan yang dimaksud adalah siswa mampu memahami pelajaran yang diberikan dengan tugas yang cukup terstruktur. Metode ini diberikan sebagai variasi dalam pembelajaran dengan mengutamakan faktor-faktor pendukung dalam pembelajaran agar siswa memiliki kemampuan yang kompeten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui penggunaan metode assignment di sekolah sebagai macam-macam metode pembelajaran yang ada di sekolah. 2) Mengetahui pemahaman siswa dalam pelajaran menggambar konstruksi atap. 3) Mengetahui pengaruh metode assignment terhadap pemahaman siswa dalam menggambar konstruksi atap. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitan Deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket dan tes. Sampel penelitian dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10 siswa dari jumlah populasi 54 siswa kelas IX program keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMKN 9 Garut. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh hubungan yang terjadi antara kedua variabel tersebut positif dan signifikan. Gambaran pengaruh metode pemberian tugas (assignment) dalam kriteria baik. Sedangkan gambaran umum dari Pemahaman menggambar siswa di SMKN 9 Garut adalah tinggi. Berdasarkan pada kriteria penafsiran koefisien korelasi, hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Method of assignment (assignment) given to students to achieve certain goals. The intended destination is the student able to understand the lessons given by a fairly structured task. This method is given as a variation in learning with emphasis on supporting factors in learning so that students have the ability competent. This study aims to 1) Determine the use of an assignment in school as various methods of learning in school. 2) Knowing the students' understanding of the roof construction drawing lessons. 3) Determine the influence of the assignment method to draw the students' understanding of the construction of the roof. This study is a descriptive research using quantitative approach. Data collection instruments by using questionnaires and tests. The research sample in this study were 10 students from a population of 54 students of class IX Architecture Engineering skills program SMK 9 Garut. From the results of data analysis of the relationship between the two variables is positive and significant. Illustrates the effect of the method of assignment (assignment) in both criteria. While a general overview of Understanding drawing students at SMK 9 Garut is high. Based on the criteria for the interpretation of the correlation coefficient, the relationship between the two variables are included in the category enough.
