    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pengenalan keaksaraan awal pada anak yang belum sesuai dengan aturan dan belum memenuhi kebutuhan perkembangan anak. Berdasarkan pengamatan di kelas, masih terdapat anak yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menguasai keaksaraan awal. Misalnya, anak belum mampu membedakan huruf dan belum mampu memahami hubungan antara bunyi dan bentuk huruf. Kesulitan ini disebabkan oleh pengenalan keaksaraan awal yang tidak sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan dan kebutuhan anak. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk mengembangkan media yang dapat membantu guru dalam menstimulasi keaksaraan awal pada anak usia dini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran "papan detektif huruf" yang layak dan efektif digunakan untuk menstimulasi keaksaraan awal anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang meliputi analisis (analysis), desain (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation) dan evaluasi (evaluation). Metode pengumpulan data yakni wawancara, angket dan pretest posttest. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh skor rata-rata 94,78% dengan kriteria (sangat valid); validasi ahli media memperoleh nilai rata-rata 94,79% dengan kriteria (sangat valid); serta validasi ahli pembelajar memperoleh skor rata-rata 82,5% dengan kriteria (sangat valid). Sedangkan uji coba lapangan mendapatkan presentase sebesar 88,87% dan untuk menilai efektivitas dalam meningkatkan keaksaraan awal, hasil pretest dan posttest dianalisis menggunakan rumus paired sampel t test, yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 sehingga Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kondisi sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media papan detektif huruf dalam menstimulasi keaksaraan awal pada anak usia 5 - 6 tahun di PAUD Terpadu Negeri Senangsari. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan penelitian media papan detektif huruf efektif untuk digunakan. This research is motivated by the introduction of early literacy in children which is not yet in accordance with the rules and does not meet the child's developmental needs. Based on classroom observations, there are still children who experience difficulties in mastering early literacy. For example, children are not yet able to distinguish letters and are not able to understand the relationship between sounds and letter shapes. This difficulty is caused by the introduction of early literacy which is not appropriate to the child's developmental stage and needs. Therefore, researchers are interested in developing media that can help teachers stimulate early literacy in young children. The aim of this research is to produce a learning media "letter detective board" that is feasible and effective to use to stimulate early literacy in young children. This type of research uses research and development methods using the ADDIE model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection methods are interviews, questionnaires and pretest posttest. The validation results from material experts obtained an average score of 97.91% according to the criteria (very valid); media expert validation obtained an average score of 94.79% according to the criteria (very valid); and validation by expert learners obtained an average score of 82.5% according to the criteria (very valid). Meanwhile, the field trial obtained a percentage of 88.87% and to assess effectiveness in improving initial literacy, the pretest and posttest results were analyzed using the paired sample t test formula, which showed a significance value of 0.000 so that Ho was rejected. Thus, there is a significant difference between the conditions before and after the use of letter detective board media in stimulating early literacy in children aged 5 - 6 years at the Senangsari State Integrated PAUD. Based on the results and discussion of research, the letter detective board media is effective to use.
