Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media chatbot berbasis smojo.ai terhadap motivasi belajar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi dengan jenis Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Variabel penelitian ini yaitu media chatbot dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Indikator motivasi belajar terdiri dari hasrat dan keinginan untuk berhasil, harapan dan cita-cita masa depan, kegiatan menarik, dorongan belajar, penghargaan belajar, dan lingkungan yang kondusif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kelas XI IPS 4 dan XI IPS 5. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis (uji t), uji regresi linear sederhana, dan uji statistic deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) berdasarkan uji t, diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,001 yang berarti 0,001 < 0,05 sehingga H1 diterima, yaitu terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. 2) berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linear sederhana diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,004 yang berarti < 0,05 artinya ada pengaruh variabel media chatbot terhadap variabel motivasi belajar. Dari tabel Model Summary linear sederhana diperoleh nilai korelasi (R) 0,378 dan diperoleh koefisien determinasi (R square) 0,228 artinya pengaruh media chatbot terhadap motivasi belajar adalah sebesar 22,8%. 3) berdasarkan uji statistik deskriptif diperoleh penggunaaan media pembelajaran chatbot dalam pembelajaran yaitu memiliki nilai rata-rata 3.47 tergolong kategori tinggi. This study aims to determine the effect of using smojo.ai based chatbot media on learning motivation. This research method uses a quasi-experimental type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The variables of this study are chatbot media and student learning motivation. Indicators of learning motivation consist of desire and desire to succeed, future hopes and ideals, interesting activities, learning encouragement, learning rewards, and a conducive environment. The subjects of this study were class XI IPS 5 and XI IPS 6. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test (t test), simple linear regression test, and descriptive statistical test. The results showed that: 1) based on the t test, a significance value of 0.001 is obtained, which means 0.001 <0.05 so that H1 is accepted, namely there is a difference in learning motivation between the experimental and control classes. 2) based on the results of the simple linear regression test, a significance value of 0.004 is obtained, which means <0.05, meaning that there is an effect of chatbot media variables on learning motivation variables. From the simple linear Model Summary table, the correlation value (R) is 0.378 and the coefficient of determination (R square) is 0.228, meaning that the effect of chatbot media on learning motivation is 22.8%. 3) based on descriptive statistical tests, it is obtained that the use of chatbot learning media in learning has an average value of 3.47 classified as a high category.
