Abstract

Penelitian ini bertolak dari pandangan bahwa MSDM tidak hanya melibatkan pengelolaan administratif tenaga kerja, tetapi juga mencakup strategi pengembangan dan pemanfaatan sumber daya manusia untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Dalam era yang semakin kompleks, kebutuhan akan profesionalisme pegawai menjadi semakin penting, karena karyawan dengan profesionalisme tinggi memiliki dampak positif pada kinerja individu serta citra dan keberlanjutan organisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, dengan partisipan sebanyak 73 responden. Analisis perhitungan menggunakan aplikasi Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 27.0 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dengan menggunakan statistic deskriptif diketahui responden memberi penilaian pada variabel profesionalisme dengan kategori sedang begitupun dengan variable promosi jabatan. Adapun hasil uji signifikansi korelasi dengan uji-t memperoleh 8,311 > 1,994 yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel X dan variabel Y. Besarnya promosi kerja ditentukan oleh profesionalisme berdasarkan hasil uji determinasi sebesar 49,3%, sedangkan 50,7% menunjukkan promosi jabatan ditentukan oleh faktor lain. Adapun persamaan regresi dari kedua variabel yaitu Ŷ = 21,924 + 1,055X, yang artinya bahwa setiap penambahan satu poin profesionalisme maka akan meningkatkan pula promosi jabatan sebesar 1,055. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara Profesionalisme terhadap Promosi Jabatan di Sespimma Lemdiklat Polri. This study stems from the view that Human Resource Management (HRM) not only involves the administrative management of the workforce but also includes strategies for the development and utilization of human resources to achieve organizational goals. In an increasingly complex era, the need for employee professionalism becomes more crucial, as employees with high professionalism have a positive impact on individual performance as well as the image and sustainability of the organization. The research method used is a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach, and data collection techniques were conducted using questionnaires with 73 respondents. Data analysis was performed using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) application version 27.0 for Windows. Based on the results of data processing using descriptive statistics, it was found that respondents rated the professionalism variable in the medium category, as well as the job promotion variable. The results of the correlation significance test with the t-test obtained a value of 8.311 > 1.994, indicating a significant relationship between variable X (professionalism) and variable Y (job promotion). The extent of job promotion determined by professionalism, based on the determination test results, is 49.3%, while 50.7% indicates that job promotion is determined by other factors. The regression equation of the two variables is Ŷ = 21.924 + 1.055X, which means that each one-point increase in professionalism will increase job promotion by 1.055 points. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive and significant influence of professionalism on job promotion at Sespimma Lemdiklat Polri.
