    Abstract

    Penelitian ini berfokus mengimplementasikan pembelajaran tari kreatif sebagai metode alternatif yang berpusat pada anak (student-centered). Pendekatan ini dipilih sebagai solusi atas model pembelajaran berpusat pada guru (teacher-centered) yang cenderung menghambat perkembangan kepercayaan diri anak. Tari kreatif memberikan kesempatan kepada anak untuk mengeksplorasi kemampuan mereka secara optimal, sehingga dinilai lebih efektif dalam mengembangkan aspek kepercayaan diri anak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kepercayaan diri anak usia dini serta proses pembelajaran tari kreatif yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian Studi Kasus, teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi serta data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 1 orang guru dan 10 orang anak dengan kriteria usia 5-6 tahun di salah satu TK yang ada di Karawang dan sudah menerapkan pembelajaran tari kreatif di sekolah. Maka hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan diri pada anak dapat meningkat melalui pembelajaran tari kreatif, terlihat dari ciri-ciri kepercayaan diri diantaranya: Yakin pada kemampuan diri, Mandiri, Ekspresif, Berani bertindak. Adapun proses dalam pembelajaran tari kreatif yaitu diantaranya: Warming Up (pemanasan), Exploration (eksplorasi), Developing skill (mengembangkan gerakan), Creating (membuat), Form (membentuk), Presenting (penampilan).

    This research focuses on implementing creative dance learning as an alternative student-centered method. This approach was chosen as a solution to the teacher-centered learning model that tends to hinder the development of children's self-confidence. Creative dance provides opportunities for children to explore their abilities optimally, so it is considered more effective in developing aspects of early childhood self-confidence. The purpose of this study was to determine the self-confidence of early childhood and the creative dance learning process carried out by teachers in learning activities. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a Case Study research design, data collection techniques in this study were carried out through observation and documentation and the data collected were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Participants in this study were 1 teacher and 10 children with age criteria of 5-6 years in one of the kindergartens in Karawang and have implemented creative dance learning at school. So the results showed that self-confidence in children can increase through creative dance learning, seen from the characteristics of self-confidence including: Confident in self-ability, Independent, Expressive, Dare to act. The process in creative dance learning includes: Warming Up, Exploration, Developing skills, Creating, Form, Presenting.
