Abstract

Pervious concrete merupakan beton inovasi yang memiliki pori-pori yang dapat dilalui oleh air. pervious concrete dibuat dari campuran air, semen, agregat kasar dan sedikit atau tanpa agregat halus agar tercipta pori-pori pada beton. Aplikasi utama pervious concrete adalah sebagai perkerasan beton penutup permukaan tanah, dengan maksud agar air hujan bisa melewati lapisan beton dan meresap langsung ke dalam tanah. Bentuk pervious concrete yang berpori, mengakibatkan kuat tekan pervious concrete biasanya tidak terlalu besar sehingga aplikasinya tidak terlalu luas. Sehingga diperlukan rekayasa agar bisa meningkatkan kuat tekan pervious concrete agar bisa diaplikasikan lebih luas lagi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh silica fume terhadap kuat tekan pervious concrete. Pengujian yang dilakukan meliputi uji permeabilitas dan uji kuat tekan. Sampel pervious concrete menggunakan cetakan silider 10 cm x 20 cm, terdiri dari pervious concrete normal dan pervious concrete dengan penambahan silica fume dengan kadar 3%, 5%, 7% dan 9% terhadap berat semen, dan w/c yang digunakan adalah 0,35. Pengujian kuat tekan dilakukan pada umur 7, 14 dan 28 hari. Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, pengaruh silica fume terhadap kuat tekan pervious concrete menunjukan peningkatan pada penambahan silica fume sebesar 3% dengan kuat tekan sebesar 17,92 MPa, sedangkan untuk penambahan silica fume lebih dari 3% menunjukan penurunan kuat tekan. Kata kunci : pervious concrete, silica fume, kuat tekan, permeabilitas. Pervious concrete is concrete innovations which have pores that can be traversed by water. pervious concrete is made from a mixture of water, cement, coarse aggregate and little or no fine aggregate to create pores in the concrete. The main application of pervious concrete is a concrete pavement surface of the soil cover, with the intention that rain water can pass through the concrete layer and seep directly into the soil. Form of pervious concrete is porous, resulting in compressive strength of pervious concrete is usually not too big so that the application is not too broad. So that the necessary engineering in order to improve the compressive strength of pervious concrete to be applied more broadly. This study was conducted to determine the effect of silica fume on the compressive strength of pervious concrete. Testing was conducted on the permeability test and compressive strength test. Pervious concrete samples using a mold cylinder 10 cm x 20 cm, consisting of pervious concrete and pervious concrete normal with the addition of silica fume to the amount of 3%, 5%, 7% and 9% of the weight of cement and w / c is used is 0, 35. Compressive strength testing performed at the age of 7, 14 and 28 days. From the research results obtained, the effect of silica fume on the compressive strength of pervious concrete showed an increase on the addition of 3% silica fume with a compressive strength of 17.92 MPa, whereas the addition of silica fume to more than 3% showed a decrease in compressive strength.
