Abstract

ABSTRAK Co-Parenting Nenek dan Perkembangan Regulasi Emosi Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Oleh Rima Hildayanti 1909870 Penelitian ini dilakukan karena terdapat kasus peralihan pengasuhan yang dilakukan oleh orang tua kepada nenek. Disisi lain, pengasuhan bersifat kompleks sehingga terdapat risiko apabila dalam pengimplementasiannya tanggung jawab pengasuhan dialihkan sepenuhnya kepada nenek, seperti, anak memiliki emosi yang meledak-ledak, merajuk, memberontak, sulit dikontrol dan kurang mampu menahan amarah, serta membantah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana co-parenting dengan nenek dan perkembangan regulasi emosi anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Partisipan berjumlah tiga orang nenek sesuai dengan kriteria yang dibutuhkan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi non partisipan, wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview), dan studi dokumentasi, dianalisis menggunakan teknik axial coding dengan pendekatan tematik. Ditemukan hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) Profil perkembangan regulasi emosi anak usia 5-6 tahun memiliki keberagaman dengan reaksi emosi serta tingkat keparahan berbeda (2) Gambaran pola asuh yang diterapkan nenek beragam dengan ada atau tidaknya prinsip dan aturan (3) Peran keterlibatan orang tua dalam pengasuhan hampir sama dengan karakteristik yang berbeda. (4) Dampak pengasuhan nenek terhadap perkembangan regulasi emosi anak berupa dampak positif dan negatif. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan nenek, orang tua, guru dan pihak sekolah dapat lebih mengetahui bagaimana co-parenting nenek dan perkembangan regulasi emosi anak sehingga pengasuhan yang diterapkan dapat lebih maksimal. Kata Kunci : Co-Parenting, Nenek, Perkembangan Regulasi Emosi ABSTRACT Grandmother's Co-Parenting and the Development of Emotion Regulation in 5-6 Year Old Children By Rima Hildayanti 1909870 This research was conducted because there are cases of transition of care made by parents to grandmothers. On the other hand, parenting is complex so that there are risks if the implementation of parenting responsibilities is fully transferred to the grandmother, such as, children have explosive emotions, sulk, rebel, difficult to control and less able to hold anger, and argue. The purpose of this study was to determine how grandmother's co-parenting and the development of emotional regulation of children aged 5-6 years. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study research design. Participants amounted to three grandmothers who fit the required criteria. Data collection techniques used non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, analyzed using axial coding techniques with a thematic approach. The research results found that: (1) The developmental profile of emotional regulation of children aged 5-6 years has diversity with different emotional reactions and severity (2) The description of parenting patterns applied by grandmothers varies with the presence or absence of principles and rules (3) The role of parental involvement in parenting is almost the same with different characteristics. (4) The impact of grandmother's care on the development of children's emotional regulation is in the form of positive and negative impacts. Through this research, it is hoped that grandmothers, parents, teachers and schools can better understand how grandmothers' co-parenting and the development of children's emotional regulation so that the parenting applied can be maximized.
